This article is for a Christmas present for our Grandson, so the boat has not yet been made, but by the look of the box it’s going to be very big and good.

This kit has not been opened yet as it is a Christmas present for my grandson. His parents are giving it to him but I ordered it so that he did not see it arrive! It is the one thing that he keeps asking for and as it was on a special price we bought it early. I cannot comment on how easy it is to assemble of course but this looks like an excellent kit. It is not just the ship but has a helicopter, a dinghy and a submarine plus many other accessories. It even includes a Viking shipwreck. It can be played with once assembled and it does actually float on water. It is expensive but is a very large kit with a lot of play value so I consider it excellent value for money and it will make one little boy extremely happy on Christmas Day!

I've made a lot of Lego over the years, and this set has offered something the other sets haven't which is a true feat. As with all Lego sets, there's joy from the moment you open the box to the play of the end product. This is a large set, and comes in a slight variation of the standard Lego box, which makes it easier to store, being a box and lid type. The build process is fun with so many play features, and then the end piece actually floats. This really is extending the abilities of the Lego engineers, and makes a lovely choice of toy for those that like to play in the bath. Great set!

As usual! A little bit more pieces than the usual sets (i bought mostly train-sets) it took about 5hours to build it, even though its easy to assemble with clear instructions. Great Quality and really fun for kids!!

A massive mega set with lots of options and levels of difficulty in the build and play. Only one negative. Why does the Whale have to float upside down looking like an ex-Whale.

Way bigger than expected considering the price had great kid “wow” factor and a fun build.

Great set, good price, fast shipping, but: WARNING: THEY'VE PUT ADDRESS LABEL DIRECTLY ON LEGO BOX. So Lego box is far from unscratched or un-dented. For the rest we are happy.
