Enjoyed it.
It's a very interesting story. Well written. I enjoyed the characters.Learning about life in a scottish village with a foreign character allowed the author to explain customs, traditions, and things a reader may not have been aware of.

Enjoyable
Zelda’s trip to the Scottish highlands is like a breath of fresh air—grieving for her mum and digging into family secrets she never knew she had. It's part mystery, part soul-searching journey, with a side of romance that's as sweet as the shortbread mentioned on the pages. The Scottish setting is so vivid you can almost hear the bagpipes in the distance. And Hal Cameron is the brooding Scotsman with a heart possibly made of the same stuff as the rugged Highlands. The sparks between him and Zelda? It's like a proper Scottish storm—unexpected and thrilling.

Hard to put down!
This book is very well written. Detailed but not too much detail is included. A little predictable but I really enjoyed how real the characters were.

This book was a very complex read. Sometimes it was interesting, other times I was caught up in all the details. I am glad I stayed with it to the end, it not sure I want to read more in this series.

Scottish roots and love
This was a book about a woman lost in life in her job and in herself. She found it all in a country she didn’t want to accept. It was a very easy read except for some Scottish words which became very familiar after a few chapters. Enjoy!

My Hearts in the Highlands
This is one of the nicest stories I have read in a long time. I love near the Scottish Border and have Scottish ancestors, so it is maybe no surprise that I feel a strong connection with the Highlands. I smiled when Zelda tried to walk around wearing stiletto heels and New York fashions and rejoiced as she became bewitched in the nicest possible way by the village she found herself in and the happiness she found there
