Observations after nearly three months of daily use: The lunchbox is well designed and constructed overall. It is a single-walled stainless steel box with a sealing lid that fastens tightly with latches. I was looking for something to solve a problem I created - I bike to work and carry meals in a messenger bag. I needed a relatively flat container that didn't leak because it ends up sideways in transit. This product satisfies that need. The silicone seal and tightly latching lid ensure there are no leaks. As a side note, the description states an extra seal is included in the packaging. I did not receive one with mine. The box is single-walled, so it isn't insulated. The metal is a good enough conductor that things will stay cool or warm for half a day or so, but if you have something that needs to be kept very cold all day long, you'll need to figure that out. Condensation can form on the outside of the box if its contents are cold. The included cloth sack should help manage keeping any condensation from spreading to other items you're carrying like books or whatever, but I have not used it. Other reviews mention the lid can be difficult to open. I have noticed this, especially if there is a temperature change, like putting hot food in the box and then refrigerating it before traveling. Or trying to open it after pulling it out of the refrigerator. Since the seal is airtight, I'm guessing the temperature difference creates a vacuum effect. This isn't 100% of the time and I haven't intentionally tried recreating the conditions for getting the lid stuck, but it's something to be aware of that probably isn't an issue with containers that have screw lids. It can be very hard to open for an adult, so I can see it being very frustrating for a child. There are two removable dividers that allow you to create up to three partitions inside the box. They are also stainless steel and formed to fit snugly inside the contours of the box at any point along its length. In practice, I use one divider to make two decently sized partitions. The dividers fit as well as this design allows for, but are not watertight, so use common sense with these and have realistic expectations. Anything dry will stay separated. Wet, runny, or saucy foods probably will not. On that note, remember this box is a single uninsulated container, so don't expect a cold salad to remain crisp if the other partition has something hot in it. After each use, I separate all the parts and hand wash them individually with regular dish soap. They air dry in a dish rack. I've had no issues with staining or latches sticking or separating. Overall I'm very pleased with this lunch box. It does exactly what was designed for.

I love this product. It is great for getting away from plastic products. It is the right size for lunches and meal prepping. The thing i love the most is the seal. There is no leaking. The seal is easily removable for cleaning.

I ADORE this food tin! The larger size is perfect for fitting enough food for an ACTUAL meal. I use it a few times a week (and if I was more organized I'd use it more). 😂 I love that it's all stainless steel and that it has the side clips. It never leaks, and it rarely suctions the lid to the container (only if the food is VERY hot). I love it so much that I bought one for my sister for her birthday, and told her that she would fall in love with it too!

I use this every day for lunch, and it’s awesome! It holds up perfectly in my backpack and keeps my sandwich from getting squished. I also love the divider—it’s perfect for Ritz crackers when I pack a little charcuterie spread.

Great quality, great size and features, great price!

I had high hopes for the Blockhütte Stainless Steel Lunch Box. With its 47oz capacity, three compartments, and eco-friendly promise, my first impressions were quite positive. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned after just one day of use. The issue with quality I found is that at first glance it appears to be good quality German steel because it is a German company, but with my results and looking further into product details, it is made in China and not what you would expect. Initial Impressions: The design looked sleek, and the idea of a leak-proof, durable stainless steel container was appealing for my daily commute to work. The sealing seemed secure, and the compartmentalized approach to meal storage was exactly what I was looking for in a lunch box. I assumed the German branding meant top-tier craftsmanship, but discovering it’s manufactured in China left me questioning the materials and build. Durability Issues: After just one use—washing it by hand before and after—I noticed visible wear on the stainless steel surface. This was incredibly disappointing, as I expected much more from a product meant to withstand daily use. The wear wasn’t just cosmetic; it suggested a lack of quality in the steel or the manufacturing process, especially given the mismatch between the company’s origin and where it’s actually made. Structural Concerns: Perhaps even more concerning was the state of the welding for the side clamps. These are supposed to keep the lunch box securely closed, but after a single day, the welds were already showing signs of bending and loosening. This not only affects the overall integrity of the lunch box but also raises significant doubts about its longevity and safety for food storage, especially if the clamps fail to hold during transport. Conclusion: I was genuinely excited about this product for its potential as an eco-friendly, durable meal storage solution. However, the reality after one day of use was far from satisfactory. The visible wear on the stainless steel, the compromised welding on the side clamps, and the realization that it’s not the German-made quality I expected make this lunch box a regrettable purchase. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, Unfortunately I had to return it.

Easy enough for my 5 yr old to use themself without any struggle (see video)! Product was just as described. Great quality, simple design, flexible spacing with removable dividers. Perfect for elementary sized lunch or adult snacks. Cons: rovable dividers are not watertight, hence them being removable. I'd order the thermos version for soups and other liquids.

Certainly quality made stainless steel storage box. Seems very durable. I really like the gasket/ seal for the lid and the internal-removable food separators. What I struggle with is the $33.00 price tag. Seemingly not much different from other Bento boxes. Maybe a thicker metal, maybe the food separators; not sure. I really like the product, just not sure if the price fits the value. But it’s a keeper.

La lunch box è esattamente come descritta. La box è ben realizzata, con materiale che appare di buona qualità. Comodissima la possibilità di lavare tutto in lavastoviglie, semplificando la pulizia. La guarnizione ha una tenuta perfetta: nessuna perdita, neanche riempiendo la box con acqua e capovolgendola. Comoda la sacca in cotone. Gli inserti per la realizzazione di scomparti sono comodi, anche se non restano saldamente al loro posto; avere delle scanalature per inserire gli inserti avrebbe reso il loro posizionamento più stabile. Ovviamente, per come sono realizzati, evitano il contatto dei cibi negli scomparti, ma non l'eventuale mescolamento di oli/sughi. Come chiaramente indicato, non è un contenitore termico, quindi non è adatto per chi ha necessità di tenere il cibo in caldo. Essendo in metallo, il contenitore non può andare nel microonde.

I am satisfied with this purchase. The price of the lunch box is probably too high, but on the other hand it will last hopefully longer than traditional plastic boxes.

J'utilise ça quand je dois transporter mon déjeuner, même des plats en sauce et tout. La fermeture est très propre, c'est solide, ça ne fuit pas du tout, et le sachet en tissu est pratique.
