I just used my tent stakes and ropes for a 2 week camping trip in the Oregon mountains. Both worked great. The stakes are long, strong and hold a tent or tie down ropes MUCH better than the flimsy aluminum or plastic stakes that come with most tent. The reflective ropes are strong, easy to use and reflect very well to keep one from tripping over them when it's dark.

Bought a pack of these to replace the flimsy ones that came with our tents. It was a good thing we did get these because we camped on the smoky mountains and our little steaks would not have held up the amount of wind and rain that we encountered on our trip. we also used this to stake down some tarps and the stakes never wavered.pros- they feel heavy duty- fit perfectly in our stake bin-have the side metal to pull if they get stuck-don't easily bend unless you are really trying to make it go in when it doesn't want tocons -- sometimes they work too great and are hard to pull out make sure you carry something that can help you pull it out like a hook, thick rope, etc.

The product came packaged well and the rope wrapped neatly. The stakes seem to be very well built and way sturdier then the stakes we had. I would recommend having a hammer to drive them in though as they are thick. The rope seems to be good quality and enough length to tie a rainfly on most tents. Only used once so far but seem like they will last a lifetime.

Heavy compared to aluminum ones but much more sturdy and secure to use

My family and I live to camping, and I was getting frustrated with the standard short aluminum "stakes" that come with everything. You know, the ones that bend and pull out of the ground with seems like no effort? Yes those ones! These on the other hand are a game changer. Very well made and they actually stake. Don't hesitate aby longer just buy them. You will be pleased.

These are not the cheap wire things that come with a hut or tent. These are the real thing. Heavy tough steel, to hold.
