This seasoning blend has an exceptionally deep, savory, umami flavor with noticeable notes of mushroom, mustard, Worcestershire, black pepper, and herbs, with a bit of heat to cut all the richness. I’ve used it now for tomahawk ribeye and smashburgers, both of which were delicious, and intend to try it in a shepherd’s pie and chili soon. It’s salty and very rich, so use a light hand.

I was excited to give this rub a try, and it did not disappoint!Firstly, the dominant aroma and flavor for my jar is smoked hickory. I don't see it listed on the jar or the description here on Amazon, so it was surprising. However, we like hickory, so it was a nice surprise.So far, we've used it on burgers and chicken, and it's great!

I was sad when my package arrived and the bourbon prime jar was broken. No way to salvage it since the glass shards were in the seasoning. Unfortunately Amazon doesn’t allow replacements on this product so I won’t be wasting my money again. I was so excited- it smelled amazing.

Has hints of bourbon smell to it, and tastes just like it. It is a little too salty though. I liked the glass exterior which made the seasoning stay fresh. Quality went into that, and the seasoning is pretty coarse. There are some chunks that look like pepper flakes. This goes perfect with chicken and beef. I was pleasantly surprised when this seasoning smelled exactly like bourbon. Has a decent value to it.
