Custom Built-in Media Wall Perfection -Crisp 4K Clarity, Slim Design & Seamless Smart Performance
We purchased the LG UQ7570 55-inch 4K Smart TV as the centerpiece of a DIY custom recessed media wall installation, and it has exceeded expectations in both performance and design integration. The 4K picture quality is excellent. Colors appear vibrant yet natural, and detail clarity is impressive across streaming services, live sports, and standard cable programming. Motion handling has been smooth with no noticeable lag or blur during fast-moving scenes, which makes watching sports and action content particularly enjoyable. The smart TV interface is intuitive and responsive. Setup was quick, Wi-Fi connected immediately, and navigating between streaming apps has been effortless. The operating system feels polished and reliable during everyday use. One of the biggest strengths of this TV is its slim profile and minimal bezel design. We installed it inside a recessed wall cavity, and it sits beautifully flush, creating a clean gallery-style appearance. Heat output has been minimal, which is important for recessed installations. Internal speakers are adequate for general viewing, but pairing the TV with an external sound system noticeably enhances the experience for movies and music. Build quality feels solid, and based on current performance and LG's reputation, I expect this TV to provide reliable long-term use. Overall, this television delivers exceptional value, excellent visual performance, and a sleek modern design that works especially well for custom media wall installations or a framed TV look. Buyer Tips: (1) Excellent choice for recessed or flush wall installations due to slim profile. (2) Performs best when paired with external audio for cinematic sound. (3) Ideal for streaming, sports, and everyday viewing. (4) Ensure adequate ventilation space if installing in recessed cavity. (5) Works especially well in medium-sized rooms. I hope this helps buyers who are considering using this product in a real home installation.

Love it; some things are a pain
Love the picture quality, It's first rate. An Ultra 4K is good enough for me, I don't need or want the newer kind because my 9 yr old Samsung was not a Smart one and was only 720p, and it still works great. It's going in the bedroom. Bright, contrast, and the depth of the picture quality is fantastic. The remote is a typical remote you would get with your TV from long ago. I don't plan to use any of the Smart app features built in, I will buy a separate Roku or Fire Stick instead because these built in ones aren't any good. I plugged in my soundbar using the Optical In but it works using Bluetooth too. I have it hooked up to the net but I'm not using it. I don't game because I'm too old for that. Intallation is easy. Just screw in the legs lift onto your TV stand (weighs 32 LBS) Great price, great TV, great brand in LG. LG or Samsung are the only two to buy.

Great tv
Great tv for the price. The app doesn't always work, but that could be user error. Once I figured out how to play with the soap opera effects, I absolutely fell in love. Great picture, great sound. Setup was easy outside the app. Took no time to set up Xbox and PlayStation. Remote control is kinda meh. I don't like where the arrow keys are placed, but again, that's user issue.

Good tv
It is a decent TV for the price. The setup was easy, but the legs being close to the sides require a big tv stand, at least 50 inch in length to barely fit. As far as picture quality it is good but I agree with the reviewers that remote is not good, it is very unresponsive when you are navigating internet media content or smart features. I will most likely buy a 4k Roku stick. Some apps are not in the smart tv such as spectrum tv. The sound is okay for a typical smart tv, but I opted to buy an LG sound bar to enhance its sound quality. And the tv looks good esthetically, I think 400+ dollars is a bargain.

Not worth the aggravation!
I was initially happy with the tv, but a few months after purchasing it started having sound quality issues. The volume would lower on its own and the only way to correct it was to turn off the tv off and turn it back on. After playing that game for a month, I finally decided to call Assurian, since I purchased the extended warranty. They referred my back to LG, as the tv was still covered under their original warranty. Let me tell you, dealing with LG has been a total nightmare. Their website says they will send someone out to repair it, but that is not until they make you jump through all kinds of hoops. They first make you unplug it and plug it back in, obviously that was not a solution. Next they make you do a factory reset, which means you lose everything on the TV. Every app that was downloaded and set up. Believe me, there were about 30 of them. So now I have to set this up all over again and redownload all 30 apps and set each one of them up again. When I purchased the tv, this set up took about 5-6 hours. I am not looking forward to it. I will follow up with more after I do that. Just beware! Spend the extra money and get a quality TV from a reputable manufacturer. Or at least purchase it at Costco, because they will just send you a new product. This is certainly not worth the money or aggravation.

Probably the best tv I now own.
I've always heard LG tv's were good, but the displays in stores don't do this justice. The color is amazing as is the clarity. It was like watching a whole new level of film when we tested it out with a few anime (bright and dark colors all at once is a great way to test a display), Fury Road, and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith all in 4k goodness. Definitely worth the price. The only drawback, which most tv's like this has, is the sound due to the rear facing speakers. Not much you can do about that but it still sounds great.

Favorite TV I've ever had already
I picked the lg tv because of webOS. Historically I've used PS4's as media servers but they're showing their age and my kids are all grown now, so it was time to upgrade. I first tried The Roku 4k system but it has a longstanding oversaturation problem with hevc codec that apparently they don't intend to solve. I have an extensive DVD and Blu-ray library I've cut to my own media server, and want to reconvert my old discs and add more 4k content before discarding thephysical media to more space efficient codecs, and since Roku isn't an option, my research led me to the lg platform and webOS. I am not disappointed. It arrived earlier today and was easy to mount and set up. It is extremely feature rich. The responsiveness of the ui isn't great, but that's my only complaint. I've started watching some of my media and have been shocked how much better it looks here than my old 4k tv. Sound is pretty good, but whatever software upscaling this TV does is almost *too* good, everything looks at least one resolution level better than it is! 480p looks like 720, 720 looks like 1080, and 1080 looks like 4k! I can't use this to check the quality of my encodes anymore or everything will look like crap on all other platforms! The upscaling occasionally causes some weird artifacting but it's hardly noticable to anyone in the family but me. I can highly recommend this platform.
