Great tool box light holds what i need great lid decent lock fits in the bed of my truck while keeping the soft top on can't beat the price very happy

I am reluctant to review an item so soon after buying, but I needed to share some info on installation. I could not find a review with installation directions anywhere on the net ,including in Amazon reviews or listing details, except directions for crossover boxes that attach to the bed rails. So my review will be one of the few sources for this info online The box is good, with a good lock and handle. Paint looks good Some reviews complain about how light it is. I view this as a plus, because it is easy to move around, while strong enough to do its job. The pneumatic rams that open the box are extremely strong--not necessarily a good thing. I sweated bullets and spent hours researching the best way to install it without bothering to look at the underside of the bed. When I did, I saw some 1/2" holes through the bed in just the right places. I could not see them because of the bed liner. I simply put the box in place, drilled a 17/64" hole through the bed liner which also marked the proper place to drill the box. Drilled the box. Used 1/4" bolts with fender washers. Used a nut with a plastic grabber so that I could fasten it by hand from underneath. That way, I can easily unbolt it.

Perfect for my truck needs, but you’ll probably want something more rugged if you will be using it in a rough environment with heavy tools,

Heavy Duty? No no no no. Don't call this thing heavy duty. You can open it with a ten inch Vice Grip. You can also pop the latch by smacking it right at the lock with the heel of your hand. But add on a hasp and padlock and you should be good to go. Maybe two. Otherwise it's a decent little bed box, kinda mostly out of sight. Oh yeah, maybe add a D-ring in the bed, and a cable/chain. We're talking portability and light weight here, y'know?

This is a beautiful toolbox for the money. I have a 2000 Tacoma and was having trouble finding a crossover toolbox for the bed. I decided to go this route and I keep this toolbox in the backseat because I never have anyone there anyway it was great value. Very well made it has a very good lock also.

Very good box. Yes its small but is holds everything i need in it. The latch clicks firm when you shit it and the lock works good. Came with 2 keys. There is no seal so when it rains water probably would get in it.

Decent box for the price, but don't expect heavy duty sturdy aluminum

Great addition to the trailer tongue on RV. Was a little concerned that some reviews saying that this was thinner material. But after bolting it down, it feels very sturdy and serves my needs 100%. Very glad I bought it.

Muy buena calidad y muy buen acabado, el problema es la empresa de transporte, vino 2 veces pero no me encontraba en mi domicilio, 3 días para intentar ponerme en contacto con ellos porque desde el día que decidí comprarlo mi idea era ir a buscarlo personalmente, después de 3 días hablando con la IA y con máquinas consigo hablar con una persona y pactamos que lo entregarían al día siguiente en una franja horaria en la que sí me encontraría en casa, 1 hora después llegó a mi domicilio, no entiendo a nada. Cuando hable con la persona me dijo que el centro relacionado de UPS con mi domicilio me correspondía el de otra ciudad, surrealista
