If I could give this book a zero I would. No facts or information for a girl about her period. The whole book is about changing your pad which is fine for part of a book but not the whole book. Waste of money.

This was exactly what I was looking for for my 9 year old niece to go with a small period kit I put together. Most of the books I found were for older girls and discussed many complex topics. This is a simple, short, illustrated book to help young girls walk through how to change a pad, including encouragement to talk to a trusted grown up for help or questions. My niece is shy and embarrassed easily so I wanted her to have something to reference if she needed.

Such a beautiful resource for young girls, this will be so helpful in learning how to navigate growing up.
