The kids enjoyed and quickly completed it. Took more time to dry than do, but they were very happy once it was done to light up.

We waited a while to do this, and it was worth it! The star if the kit is obviously the globe. It's a nice texture and takes the included paint well. The stand is super nice and the light and remote work well. The kit also inches plaster mix and molds for making your own small casts that can either attach to the globe or be placed elsewhere. We opted to hold off on those for the moment, and use them as a second activity. I love how this includes absolutely everything you need for several sessions of activities; there's even an apron! We are very happy with this cute kit and would absolutely recommend it for several activity sessions with grade schoolers!

Unfortunately the Moon can no long light up. We've gotten two of these and for some reason or another the light breaks. the art kit it comes with is great. Super giftable. Great project. Maybe just better for adults than kids because idk what this child has done to break these so easily.

This was a fun project for my daughter. She enjoyed using this to express her own type of art. I love it and it is something fun to do with children.

This is stupendous! So much fun to design and paint the moon! And you can paint it as a planet if you like or anything you want actually. The kit comes with the moon as well as other items to paint. It comes with everything you need: paint, brush, etc.It didn't take too long to paint the moon and it was a fun afternoon doing so. A must for family fun time!

This kit was a home run, slam dunk, and whatever other sportsball analogy you want to throw in. If you are a work from home parent or a parent who needs some time to yourself, this is a GREAT KIT. This entertained our daughter by herself for at least 2+ hours and at the time of posting, it's less than $23 making it a huge value.The kit comes with everything you need - an apron for paint spatters, paints, brushed, moulds for the plaster, and solid instructions.The kit allows the kid to paint their own globe, and then make and paint plaster pieces they want to attach to it. The plaster part is possibly the most involved you, as a parent, will have to be, and that's just to help mix and set the pieces. However, that's also fun for kids, so maybe let them do it?After the plaster sets, they have a whole new set of things to paint, and then they can look back at it and decide which piece looks the best and affix them to the globe.The whole set creates a rechargeable nightlight that comes with a remote and the lamp changes colors AND has a timer! This is why this set is so awesome - it's an activity, and then they can use it and the end result is this really awesome nightlight that looks super different as it cycles through the different light colors.My daughter and husband raved about this set and my husband said it was "literally the best thing that has ever been delivered from Amazon". He wanted to give this set 6 stars. For reference, I think I get 4 stars as a wife, so now you know how great this set is. I'm not on the hunt for similar things, and my daughter has thanked me several times for ordering it and mentioned how much fun she had.

We love that this came with a reusable plastic apron. A 2 and 3 year old were so excited to immediately get to it!The one big con is that especially for very young kids, the foam "stamp" brushes were way too big to fit in the tiny little paint containers. So they will need help pouring the paint onto say newspaper, or into a bowl in order to be able to get those stamps in the paint.The other con is even though the kit comes with several colors, there is very little of each. Wish there was more. All in all, plenty to cover the whole globe (but if did take it all), but that means making actual designs vs. just a mosaic splattering mish-mash is near impossible for young kids.

I got two of these but they are of different brands. One we left plain. The other my 8 year old decided that she will draw on it . She asked me the first Star Wars Character I could think of and without thinking I said Darth Sidius. I never thought about it and she came to me the next day and said wallah! This product is great for kids. it brings out their creativity! The item itself is light weight and does light up. You need to charge it using a usb-power-plug-tip-cable (old style it came with it) My only comment is that they should have made the charging usb-usb which is a more common cable. So don't lose the cable that came with it. It's a little pricey. But I would recommend this product.
