When I first opened these, I felt something sharp as I grabbed one. I thought maybe a piece of metal had been left during the manufacturing process. In fact, spread throughout each hard bristle pipe cleaner are these little tiny pieces of plastic line, sticking out from the center, like individual scrubbers, that feel like the end of 20lb mono fishing line. They stick out from the pipe cleaner to make them a little bit more voracious when using them to scrub the inside of a tube. They worked well for my purposes, cleaning out the carrier key on a bolt carrier.The soft bristle ones are just that… soft and work just as well as any other cleaner I’ve used. They don’t leave lint or fibers behind and they feel like good quality. Happy with these pipe cleaners

These pipe cleaners are quite flexible. They have been doing a great job of keeping my pipes clean. They absorb any liquid and help knock out any dottle after smoking. I haven't noticed any fibers being left behind in my pipe. I would buy these again and again given the quantity and price.

I got these for my 2 younger girls for arts and crafts. They love working with them and how they look. There are two bundles of white and 2 bundles of white with red dots. The ones with red dots are a tiny bit more abrasive, so I believe those are for cleaning certain pipes, though they also make pretty cute giraffes. My girls can manipulate them easily and they hold their shape pretty good.

The flexibility of this product allows you to clean smaller tight spaces that you normally would not be able to reach. Seems to be a quality product from a quality brand.
