At this price point I thought it might not work well but it does heat up quickly and gets my soldering work done. Nice assortment of tips for every job. Metal holder really comes in handy when this thing is hot. So far it has worked well for me.

Haven't done soldering for years, maybe decades. Needed a soldering iron to replace a battery on an S107G RC helicopter and chose this kit because it included everything I might need. It has pinpoint tips, solder, paste, a stand, etc. Was shocked at how quickly this heated up compared to the soldering iron I used as a kid. Really liked that the digital display showed the temperature so I wasn't guessing as to "is it hot yet?" It came with a stand and tip-cleaning sponge, which I used. The stand is not top quality, but it 100% worked for me and held the iron out of my way. Used just a little of the solder and paste. Both did the job and it was nice that I didn't have to buy them separately. I didn't use any other tips or the wick. In all, I was impressed with the the contents of the kit. If you have a small job and don't want to spend a lot, this is convenient and a great value.

Iron heats quite fast. Various tips are suitable for most jobs. Fine point tip does tend to bend a bit but you can can bend it back. Black grip does get a bit warm. Needs more insulation to keep it cooler. Other than that iron works quite well. Various temperature settings are easy to set. Small in size makes it easier to get in tight areas. Added accessories are a good value. How durable the unit will be will depend on use.

Great for beginners and light work. Setup is easy and it comes with everything you need to get working. It heats up quickly and seems to hold a good temperature. Soldered well on several projects I had and was super convenient to use.

Great little tool. Used a handful of times and has done very well so far.

Losing heat , at first worked well, but now its not getting hot enough

I threw away eight other soldering irons after I used this. Even had a 100 watt gun. Right in the trash. This thing heats up in seconds, has a million controls that I mostly don't use, I have never found a better soldering iron. Definitely a great value and came with all kinds of accessories like flux, solder, well written instructions. Can't say enough good about this.
