My 4 year old loved painting this. I was concerned about the short battery life, but I just turned it off after she fell asleep and it lasted weeks. We just replaced the batteries for the first time after using it for almost a month. The only thing I don't love is that the gem stickers don't stick to the unicorn. We tried gluing them, which worked briefly, but they will still randomly fall off. We lost several while handling it to change the batteries.

Nice Concept, but Internal Lighting Literally Fell Apart.
Cute toy and very engaging. But definitely had build quality issues for the price. Bought a 2 pack for my 2 girls, and 1 unit’s lighting system literally was in pieces (the internal light and switch were coming apart), and the 2nd unit didn’t last nearly as long as the estimated light run time. Went dim after about 8hrs of use. Estimate from manufacture was 36hr light time I believe.

Great DIY night light for kids
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter as a craft to do with her. It was so fun to paint and the light is bright. The paint stuck to the unicorn very well and the size of the unicorn was perfect.
