We bought one of these in January 2024 and bought another for a friend later that year. Seven or eight cats have used and enjoyed them over the years. Cats seem to prefer drinking from a faucet so this fits perfectly. It circulates and filters the water, so it stays clean and aerated while having a good capacity. What we like about this one specifically is that it is silent, easy to clean, easy to see the water level, and great customer service. I scoffed at the claim of lifetime free pump replacement, but when ours started having issues and we requested a new one it arrived in three days. They even supplied a spare impeller. It is very important that you regularly change the filters and clean it thoroughly. In particular, remove the back of the pump and rinse well, use a cotton swab to get down the top of the pump, and use a pipe cleaner to small brush to clean out the neck of the spout. At first I just ran clean water through the spout to clean, but then I used a small flexible brush for cleaning metal straws and it pulled out a mess of gunk so now I am very meticulous. My only nitpick complaint is that there are two screws that secure the spout to the top; the screws are not stainless steel and they are starting to rust. I'll replace mine with stainless screws and I recommend this quick fix to everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this product. It works great, reasonable price, the cats love it, and the seller is there after the sale with exceptional service.

This is a great product. It provides refreshing water for your cats all day long. Our cats love it and so do we. It comes with a lifetime guarantee. Also, if you have any issues, the customer service is topnotch. They are pleasant and helpful. We definitely recommend this product, especially if you have multiple pets.

Searched for a pet fountain that is all stainless steel. Tomxcute is a brand that promises this! Except for the water pump, fountain spout holder, and window gauge which are a modest amount of plastic, the fountain is all stainless steel. Other competitors on the market have advertised stainless steel fountains and have really added a interior plastic lining on a stainless steel dish or offered an all stainless steel dish and added a plastic lid; So, BUYER BEWARE WHEN SHOPPING. I have two water fountains; I initially purchased one, and liked it so much I added another. I've had them a year before this review. I like the additional features the fountain offers. The filter works great; I noticed a lot of food backwash trapped in it on cleaning that normally would remain behind in a plain water bowl which I used to have. While Tomxcute has yet to offer the ergonomic tilt design to aid in easier food/water intake, I like that the dishes sit at a more ergonomic height compared to standard drinking bowls. I like that the unit comes with replacement filters and that the product description is accurate about time replacement. I have run the lid and container through the dishwasher with great cleaning results every time. Please be careful about pump cleaning and soaking it weekly in equal parts vinegar to water ratio with the provided crevice brush. Food debris will settle there as much as the water container itself. While two 3 liter containers can technically offer my 5 cats water for two days, I have opted for less convenience and clean them daily as they all tend to like colder water. They literally knock me over setting it back up! Future consideration for Tomxcute water fountain should be to offer a 15 degree slant to the lid component for a more enhanced ergonomic design; Offer a BPS/BPA neoprene water sleeve insulator as an optional accessory for its fountain; Finally, and advanced water filtration line featuring Reverse Osmosis. Overall, 5 stars for a reliable and quality item.

My cat loves this fountain. It’s the first one we have had, so we don’t have much to compare it to other than the traditional water bowl. As other reviews have stated, the pump is almost soundless and does not vibrate the floor, which is a huge benefit for us living in a second floor apartment. The only sound we hear (unless placing my ear right up on the side of the unit) is a slight trickling sound from the water. The directions say to turn it off when not in use, but we live in a hot, dry area so it is always in use. It’s been running 24/7 since we first put it up, other than cleaning times, with no problems. Unfortunately, because of the running faucet design, a lot of the water just evaporates in our particular climate. The tank does hold a lot, but I find myself topping it off every day to avoid stressing the pump. It does get a slimy film in the tank and over the sponge wraparound filter for the pump, despite the filters and using distilled water. While the tank and lid clean decently in the dishwasher, I don’t feel like I am adequately cleaning (by hand) the spout or the pump, and I find it necessary to wash the unit and replace the filters more than twice as often as recommended. The best part for me is that my cat can’t jostle the fountain like he did the bowls, so I don’t come in to a wet floor, and he never has an empty bowl. However, between the frequency of filter replacement, and the cost of distilled water, I wonder if the benefits outweigh the cost, but since my cat likes it so much, we will definitely be keeping it.

My present and previous cats spilled water all over the floor many times each day. MAGIC ! instantly no water on the floor and this fussy old man switched instantly. He wanted the water to still be moving so I had to add water to old bowl 6 times each day. I was wary he would not use it. Set it on the floor, he walked up to it and drank... What? Clean once each week & replace filter every month. Pro: very quiet.. may need to find the best spot on the floor. Only clean once each week. Easy to clean with soap. Easy to access filter. Easy to refill each day. Window on side is a must for certainty to refilling. Easy to clean the pump propeller every 3 months or so. Cat has never refused it. Con: Pump propeller stops every 3 or so months, easy to clean. Pre-clean pump propeller before going on a trip... cat sitter. I got the wall adapter wet once and it died, but just used my cell phone wall adapter. Life is so much easy, no wiping water at 3 am, no fuss about "water not moving" requiring refills at 2 am and 5 am.

Updated: I was contacted immediately after my initial 1-star review and offered a refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement water pump. I installed the new water pump and everything has been working smoothly now for a couple of months. I am hoping that I just received a bad unit the first time out. Kudos to the seller for reaching out and providing excellent Customer Service. I updated to 3 stars but will update if this pump surpasses the 5-month mark, as the fountain itself is easy to clean and a great fountain when working. ======================== The water pump used for these fountains is a piece of junk. Even when following directions to clean pump and keep water above a minimum fill line the pump stopped working after 5 months. I even took it apart and cleaned and inspected each piece. My last fountain was going 3 years before I couldn't find filters. I also have an old Petmate fountain that I've have 10 years that still works, but difficult to clean So I've never had issues with pumps in other pet fountains.

I am giving this review because of the excellent customer service I received recently. I bought this about year and a half ago and it just started to give out. I have had drinking fountains before this one and I know how to take them apart and clean ALL of the parts, replace all of the filters, and I do it at least once a week. And I only have one cat! I knew it had to be a bad motor so that's what I told customer service after going through the usual spiel of did I clean it, try a new USB, etc... They did send me a new motor immediately (at no charge), and it arrived in a couple of days. After installing, the fountain works fine. I definitely recommend buying from this seller and the product is great.

I’ve had this product now for about three months and so far so good. It was easy to put together came with 2 extra filters, no rust showing, water flows, and easy to clean. My cats are enjoy having the fountain higher off the ground and of course running water to which a couple like to play in it. Before I had a Petmate, which was good yet it was plastic and I had much rather prefer to have the stainless steel when I saw this at my friends. The one thing I liked about the petmate water fountain that it had an separate reservoir for water that would gravity feed water when it got low as this new one does not, it’s not a deal breaker by any means as holds quite a bit of water for three cats usually last close to 9 days if they are extra thirsty or as long a 2 weeks. This is for 3 cats. Two things I’ve noticed that if the water goes past the minimum line, it automatically shuts off yet with that being said it could damage the pump if that happens continuously. It only happened once yet that is on me yet part of there accountability, The blue light window feature is nice but the window is so small that it’s hard to tell how low the water really is and I would have to get on the floor to really tell where the level was and that in itself was challenging to see correctly. It would’ve been nice to have had a bigger window to see the water level more clearly without removing the top. Otherwise I am happy with this water fountain. I wouldn’t try taking the top off by the water spout as it will come off and then you have a mess to clean up. Just take the lid off. Now the only downside of this water with no reservoir like the pet mate has, the Fountain when the electricity goes off the water sucks back down into the container thus leaving no water for my cats to drink. Not a problem if the electricity comes on in a short while or I’m home to put a bowl of water out. Today there working on the polls so electricity is off for 6 hrs and if your feeding your babies dry food that to long without water unless they know about the toilet ha ha.

Took a couple of days before the cat used it but once she got the hang of it, she loves it. Strong sturdy metal unit, runs perfectly quiet. Very happy with it.
