Healyum Conductive Gel

It's easy to apply and seems to be working very well with my light therapy device.

I’ve been on the hunt for a gel that will work with my light therapy devices so they don’t shock me haha. I’ve been using ultrasound gel but wanted to try a conductive gel and came across this Joey Healy Healyum Conductive Gel and decided to give it a try!It does work well! No shocks with my light therapy devices when using this. It goes on thick and stays on - a little goes a long way! BUT I don’t see much of a difference between this and a cheaper ultrasound gel. So I most likely would not order again as I feel I get the same benefits from ultrasound gel, but others may have different results/ experiences!

I've been using the Nuovoluce Microcurrent device and and although it has improved my wrinkles, I have been trying to figure out a way to use it at the same high-power level, but with less discomfort. I've tried using only my regular water-based serum (terrible shocks), a gel for use with IPL plus aloe vera spray (less shock, but minimal skin benefits), and finally, the Joey Healy Healyum Conductive Gel. The Healyum Conductive Gel is definitely the best of both worlds, it minimizes shock more than the IPL gel AND I get the benefit of hyaluronic acid during treatment. It works really well if I put the gel on right before I work in the area, there is no need to reapply. At $22, I think that it is priced competitively for a conductive gel used with microcurrent devices.

I was skeptical about this gel because the color. But it actually lasts pretty long on your skin. I've used several other conductive gels that are much more expensive than this one, and they dry up quickly on your skin that you have to keep reapplying. This Joey Healy gel, stays wet longer so you don't have to reapply so much.

My initial thought about this gel was that it seemed quite pricey for a 5.1oz tube. However, I can say that it doesn’t dry as quickly as some other products I’ve tried, which makes it last better, and I don’t have to apply as thick of a layer for it to work. On the whole, I do quite like this conductive gel, it has a lot of nice features that make it a nice product to use; even if it seems to be on the pricey side.
