Fantastic little scanner with an excellent quick test feature
Brilliant little scanner and excellent value for money. Setup was quick and straightforward, plug it in, connect via Bluetooth, open the app and it works instantly. The interface is clear and easy to understand, even if you are not particularly technical, and the amount of information it provides is impressive for something so compact. The quick test feature is especially good. With one tap it runs through the main systems and gives you a clear overview of the car’s health in seconds, which is incredibly handy. I have attached a video of this feature because it really shows how fast and useful it is in real use. Reading and clearing fault codes is simple, live data is detailed, and the battery and voltage checks are a great bonus. For the price, this feels like a no brainer for any car owner. It has already given me peace of mind and saved a potential trip to the garage. Highly recommended.

A small but super advanced diagnostic tool.
At first sight this diagnostic tools looks small.. but its worth the money compared to more expensive diagnostic tools.. the first this to do is download the app super easy and it will automatically register a new account for you when you first enter you email address and a password... that's it no need to authenticate with an email. once you plug in the AD20 pro and pair you vehicle that's it your good to go. The scan and diagnostic options are straight forward any one can use it.. but what really stands out in this tool is not only does it find any faults on the car it gives you a really clear and detailed explanation about the fault. Why pay a garage £80 to diagnose a fault? this will do it for you... highly recommended as a second opinion when taking your car to the garage. It will clear faults and get rid of the engine management light.. but it will also do stuff like reset the service light as well. but it has other great functions. i left mine plugged into the OBD" socket whilst driving my car its tell you things like how fuel you have in the car.. so no need to panic when your petrol warning light comes on there actually more petrol in the tank than you think. So i own 3 of diagnostic tools ranging from £20- £2500. obviously the more expensive diagnostic tool san re programme the ECU etc... but this little tool does the more functions than a diagnostic tool cost £200. I recommend every family should have one of these in the household as a minimum.. you can add all the cars in the family onto the app and it will remember each car when you plug it in and run a diagnostic. One use of it will save you hundreds than paying a garage. and if you can afford get one per vehicle and leave it plugged in. It will constantly monitor your car and driving habits, you will be amazed the things it tell you about your car things like the coolant levels.. temperature of engine, idle speed.. its even test your battery... this was great.. it reads the voltage of the battery standing.. test the voltage when start the car and the voltage after the car is running. So many things a garage will charge you for. I have only had it a few days and I am impressed with it.. so don't let the small size put you of the technology it packs is awesome.. so far i have not found any disadvantages to this tool compared with other..

Good OBD2
Great OBD2 unit. Unfortunately it failed to clear the airbag warning lamp on my Audi A1. Before I bought the unit, I messaged the seller / manufacturer who assured me the OBD2 will clear the error code. After failing to clear the code, I contacted the seller again. The customer service was really good and for a while they liaised with their support staff. After a few attempts they either gave up or their IT support staff did. This meant this unit was not going to solve my issue, so I had no choice but to return it. On the positive side, you can monitor your cars performance and it's ideal for all sorts of information even if it's a bit excessive.

XTOOL scanners are the Best!! Quality, price, and works well!
XTOOL scanners will save you time and money! It is almost impossible live without one with all the electronics in today's cars. I now have the XTOOL D8BT, AD10, and the AD20 pro and love them all! Just yesterday while leaving work, my son's battery light came on in his Camry, so he took out the D8BT scanner from his trunk and quickly learned his alternator was not working. He had enough time to get to a parts store, repair the car, and return the core. Earlier in the day, I received my AD20 pro and decided to check it out on my 2007 Toyota Sienna Van. It worked flawlessly! It scanned my entire vehicle and cleared my TPS light in the dashboard. You must scan a QR code on the instruction sheet to get started. It will take you about 10 minutes to follow the easy to understand steps. I have a new 5G phone and the highest speed internet Spectrum offers. Once you plug the dongle in the OBDII port under the dash and your vehicle communicates with your phone via Bluetooth, you will see a big difference between the AD10 and the AD20 pro. I was hoping the AD10 app would work on the AD20 pro, but you will see that there are so much more parameters and sensors that are tested with the AD20 pro, that it needs a whole new app. When the AD20 pro tests your vehicle, it is very fast! What is new and amazing and where Wi-Fi comes into play is that the AD20 pro will not just give you the trouble code, it will take you to a website that explains the code and even recommend videos that you can watch on your phone to solve your problem. There is live data where you can select all or only the sensors you want to watch. Most times you will look at fuel trims, rpm, MAF, O2 Sensors, and voltage. So you can monitor what you prefer. You can leave the dongle in the OBDII port to monitor your driving habits. This scanner can tell you if you are driving well. The only times I have problems with my XTOOL scanners is deciding which one to buy. It wasn't long after the XTOOL D7 scanner came out that the XTOOL D8 scanner came available. It was hard enough deciding between the D7 and the D8 because now the XTOOL D8BT came out. I decided to buy the D8BT and that was the best decision I made. My friend bought the other brand that I was considering, I tried it and I would have been disappointed. Getting back to my XTOOL AD20 pro, again I had a little problem deciding between the AD20 or the AD20 pro. I chose this AD20 pro, but I am confident that either or would be a good choice!

Great scanner
I’ve been using the Xtool Advancer for a while now, and it’s honestly a great tool to have if you want to diagnose faults and keep an eye on your car’s performance. It’s easy to use, reliable, and gives you clear insights into what’s going on with your vehicle, which saves both time and money. What really stood out to me, though, is their customer service. Recently, I ran into an issue where the device wasn’t working on my new phone because it was still linked to my old one. I reached out to their support team, and they handled everything quickly and professionally. The issue was resolved promptly, and I was able to get back to using the device without any hassle. Overall, both the product and the support team are excellent. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable diagnostic tool.

Mind-Blowing Little Gadget – Every Car Owner NEEDS This!
I cannot rave enough about this OBD2 scanner. It’s like carrying a mechanic in your pocket. Plug it in, open the app, and in seconds you get a complete health check of your car. Fault codes? Found them. Performance test? Done. Smog check and oil reset? Easy. I went from clueless about what my engine light meant to actually knowing exactly what was wrong and saving myself a pricey trip to the garage. The wireless connection is seamless, the app is slick and user-friendly, and the detail it gives is just insane for something so compact. Honestly, it’s fun to use like unlocking a secret dashboard of your car. Free updates mean it’ll only get smarter over time. If you own a car and don’t have this, you’re missing out. Total game-changer. Buy it, thank yourself later.

Mixed bag
The scanner does very well. I have a fussy Audi and I couldn't get it to run an in-depth scan in my car but I'm sure it's the car. I asked for and received help but it didn't work. The scanner is good though and picked up several faults.

Detected Code error after Engine light came on
Background to why I purchased this gizmo: Driving home (Mazda 6 SportNav) on a Sunday about 120 miles on a mainly motorway journey, the dreaded engine light came on within about 5 miles of starting the drive. No where to stop on a Smart Motorway (no hard shoulder), decided to push on the next services. The owners manual was really vague, basically could be numerous things, some may damage the engine, others not so important, but all said immediately go to a Dealer, ON A SUNDAY and in a MOTORWAY SERVICEs still 100 miles from home. Driving a 50 mph in Limp Home mode I basically junction hopped home. At the last services stop, switched the engine off again and restarted, and no warning light, full acceleration back again. So my hunch was correct, probably an O2 sensor, had it before years ago. This car is alive with too many sensors. The following week my youngest son bought a 2nd hand Ford Fiesta 62 plate, looked great but what was potentially hidden and lurking within the Engine Management module? So I started to search for ODB scanners online. I am not a mechanic, just wanted something to tell me was I foolish driving my Mazda home on a hunch (without knowing for sure) and how useful a cheap ODB would be for checking my Son’s latest car. After many hours of searching for Best ODB scanners, ready some many reviews and watching YouTube videos I settled on this XTOOL dongle. I didn’t need a dealer type scanner, and this dongle approach paired with my phone was ideal. Very reasonably priced, great reviews on YouTube and it didn’t disappoint. Easy to use, recognised my VIN, App was brilliant to watch and immediately discovered a Code that pointed to a glow plug issue or a glow plug module (could be loose). Imagine if I knew that before driving home in limp home mode. Lastly, checked out my Son’s car and it passed all of the extensive array of checks. Absolutely love this gizmo.

Great bang for your buck!
This is the best bang for your buck. The pairing process is very simple, and the app works great, no bugs or glitches. It has many great features for DIYers and has saved me a lot in mechanics by giving me an ideia of what could be wrong through the trouble codes. It is intuitive, practical and quick. One of my best tools for sure.

Scaricare e installare l’app ufficiale (gratuita).
