Kate's Home & Garden Peppermint Oil Spray for Bugs, Ants, Spiders (16oz)

To be honest, I'm usually a little skeptical when it comes to buying natural products but the reviews were good so I gave it a try. I've been having issues with ants lately and tried this for the first time today and they really don't like it. It won't kill them (unless you spray it directly on or near them) but they really don't like crossing areas you've sprayed with it. I watched one of them twitch and die just because I sprayed this near it. The scent is powerful but pleasant. It smells like Christmas in a bottle. I'm still going to spray some Home Defense but I thought this would be good to try on areas I don't want to spray with chemicals like inside cabinets or counters. It does say to not spray on areas that come in contact with food but I'm going to be keeping all my food in plastic containers for the time being and this product is still good to use on counter top edges and walls. I also sprayed some on a paper towel and wiped it all over the cupboard doors and drawers. It seems safe to use but does have sodium lauryl sulfate which I'm sensitive to but not a bad idea to use gloves while using. I just ordered this again but got the much larger bottle this time.

Repeat purchase for me. Using a nontoxic spray around my patio to keep hummingbirds safe is a priority and I have used this for 2 years now and like that is keeps all the bugs and no-see-ums away. Use it in house and car too! Clear side panel strip lets you know when you are getting low. Like the Peppermint scent too, instead of chemical scent.

I've been using it as an, if I see bugs I spray kind of repellent around the house at the moment, with the on and off downpours in my area washing it away outside. Appreciate that I don't have to worry too much if my dogs go near it, they also hate the initial smell so have no interest. It does have a very strong smell at first but fades within an hour. Would like it to last longer. But overall good product for a more natural option.

I was a bit concerned reading the reviews regarding leaking packages upon delivery but I received it in perfect condition no leaks. The scent wasn't overwhelming but just right in my opinion. I had a roach problem outside on the patio fence. After scrubbing the frass off with hot water and dish soap, I applied a healthy dose of the spray along the bottom 6-12 inches and along the bottom cross beam that night. ( Both sides of the fence. ) The next morning the fence was completely untouched. * A side note I have Metric paper wasps that I enjoy having around to watch up on the roofline of my patio and they were un bothered by the scent due to the distance between their comb and the lower fence line.* The nozzle does leak some when you spray and gets on your fingers but nothing crazy. So far I think it's working great.

Great pet safe way to help with bugs! I sprayed this indoors and outdoors and noticed a difference within a day! Also smells great!

It will deter bugs but deinstall keep them away. Spray smells great tho.

I got this spray during a time when stink bugs were abundant on my porch. I hate these ugly bugs and dreaded going outside. I had my house professionally sprayed and after few days the bugs would die then fall all over porch. I still had to endure till they died then sweep up. I bought this and by the next day I noticed much less of these pests. I used it once every few days for couple times and I stopped seeing any bugs on my porch and didn’t have to use very often. Bugs are totally repelled by this spray and I was totally happy. Definitely recommend this and will not be without it.
