Jury is still out on this one. Taking some getting used to. There is obviously a technique to using this but it doesn't come with instructions and although there is an instructional video by Travel Inspira on you tube, there is no commentary. Think for the moment I will stick to using my Edge nail buffers which are excellent.After placing my original 3 star review I received a very helpful e-mail with instructions from Shinail. Full marks plus to them for customer service! I have also changed my mind about the this little gadget (now I know how to use it properly!). It only requires the most GENTLE of usage. Whilst the shine is not not a brilliant shine it does buff out ridges. It is fabulous for sealing the nail. I use this and the Bone Fide crystal nail file and I doubt if I will ever find anything to match these two gadgets for nail care for my fragile nails! 10 stars!

Love this product! I've had glass nail files before, but not this texture. If you run you finger over it it actually doesn't feel rough at all at first I wasn't sure how it was going to shape my nails, but it is fab!!I trimmed them with clippers first and used the file to shape and finish off. My nails are prone to peeling and some nail files can weaken them further but this is so gentle and leaves the tips in such a nice smooth condition! I'll be ordering a second so I can have one in my handbag too!!

Very nice product, it's durable and the sleeve it comes with makes it easier to carry it around in my purse or when travelling

I have received the product at the beginning of the week and one thing that struck me as soon as I opened it was the quality of it. The file and the cover are both made beautifully and do feel great in your hand. The file is now as light as some of them and thanks to that it does not feel flimsy or brittle. As soon as I opened I obviously started using it and basically did my all my nails there and then! I am so very happy with it. It is not too harsh but at the same time does the job very quickly. It is very easy to keep clean and because it is so elegant, it is ok to use it pretty much anywhere. It looks very expensive. The nails look so healthy after using it and fortunately the file is not too rough so one use and they look shiny and it is very easy to achieve the preferred shape. It is not slippery at all, which is what I was worried about having to buy a similar product before so that is, a massive bonus! All in all, I like it a lot and I will continue using it from now on.

This arrived very quickly in it’s own printed box, which also contained a small pouch to store it safely. There are instructions on how to use it, on the box but unfortunately these are not in English. I suppose many folks would say use common sense but I’ve never used a glass file before and the only nail shiners I’ve used have 2 or 3 different surfaces on them that have to be used in the correct order. As it turns out this file has only 1 side that both files and shines and it actually does it very effectively. It is easy to use and the results are so dramatic. I’m not allowed to wear nail polish at work so this is ideal for me and it would make a great gift – my elderly mother has never worn nail varnish in her life but has taken to using a nail shiner so I’m planning to get one for her. I love this and would highly recommend it.I purchased this at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This is a great nail file. It comes in great packaging and there is a neat pink faux leather holder to keep it in. It is the perfect size for keeping in your handbag for when you have those nail mishaps and need to smooth down a sharp bit immediately. The nail file works well and is pretty gentle on your nails. I haven't tried this as a buffer as I feel it may be a little too harsh for that, but as a nail file it is great!Please note that I received this item at a reduced price so that I could test it out and leave an honest review.
