My order arrived in great shape. At first, I was concerned because the panels showed up first and Amazon marked my whole order as delivered. I contacted customer service (which was prompt in addressing my concerns) and was told not to worry. It arrived 2 days later in n great shape. It was not packaged in an Amazon box. It came in the original box which tells you what it is so if you need privacy from nosy neighbors, I would recommend requesting additional packaging. I am VERY pleased with my purchase! After surviving Hurricane Helene, I realized that in a bad situation, gas for my regular generator would not always be available and without gas, it was useless. I researched many solar generators and found this one to be the best fit for my home and situation. The panels are easy to set up. The generator is solid and a bit heavy but I had no problems carrying it. I am an older, disabled woman with a healing broken hand. The generator comes with multiple ways to charge and has ports to charge cell phones. I feel very confident that this unit will suit my purposes in the event of another storm or regular power outage. I live in an area where I get unobstructed sun on most days so solar is an excellent option for me. With the price of groceries, I spent as much on this unit as I did replacing all my lost refrigerated and frozen foods. Another savings point is the price of gas to keep gas generators running and trips to the gas station. Solar solves that issue! This unit alone will not charge your whole home but it will keep your lights on, your refrigerator running and charge your phones in a power outage. I’m considering purchasing another battery to be able to charge more appliances at a later date. For me, this purchase is well worth the money and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to gas generators.

We bought this for general outdoor/camping use and to keep the fridge running when the power goes out. EcoFlow's customer service has been the real story here. When I received it, the box for the main unit was severely damaged (the panels were shipped separately and arrived pristine), to the point where I wasn't sure if I should even open it. The driver had just dropped it off without a signature, which was also not supposed to happen. I contacted the seller and they responded almost immediately to tell me it should be fine to take it out to determine whether or not it was damaged. Regardless of the outcome, they were already offering to either have it shipped back at their cost or issue me a small credit for the inconvenience if it worked and I chose to keep it. The device itself was completely unscathed. It's probably luck more than anything that whatever it was didn't penetrate deep enough to cause damage. Regardless, I don't consider issues during shipping to be something they caused, it just happens sometimes, but they were prompt to respond and make it right. I haven't put much actual use into it yet, but small devices like my phone and laptop charge very quickly without even putting a dent in the battery. I have put it through some basic tests as far as using the solar panels under good conditions and also charging it off of AC. Setup is very intuitive and all cabling is set so that you can't accidentally plug anything in where it shouldn't go. So far everything performs as advertised, and I'm more than confident in keeping this unit. As compensation for the situation they sent me a weatherproof bag/cover for it at no cost, which is not normally included. If anything changes I will update this review, but a 5 year warranty (1 year on the solar panels) combined with the customer service demonstrated here has me feeling very confident at this point. As always, your mileage may vary, but my experience has been excellent.

Ecoflow does it again with another banger of a system! I took this unit out camping for a little over a week with some of my friends, and with the 2 extra batteries, and 440W Worth of bifacial Ecoflow panels we had power continuously. I only needed to break out the panels around day 4 to charge it back up. Keeping all of our electronics (drones, RC cars, portable fridge cooler, CPAP machines, etc) charged/powered up wasn’t an issue for this unit, and the lowest I ever saw it go was around 30% initially I charged it up a little off of my Honda eu1000 since the clouds were out in the morning, which worked well since ecoflow added a variable wattage AC charging feature! You can limit the wattage it pulls off of AC so you can run smaller (or larger) generators as a backup. That alone makes this unit very versatile. I switched over to solar around 50% charge, and After a full day of sun it was back to full. I Highly recommend this system if you plan on boondocking, or over-landing, as it will power just about anything you will throw at it with 2400w (4800w burst) of output. The system is a little bulky, but it fits well in the corner of a tent. The displays are bright and easily read from a distance, so checking on it outside the tent was easy. Overall this would be a great system for home backup or outdoors adventures! Update! I’ve been using this unit with about 1200w worth of panels outside of my house since march to power my laundry room. I have one of the Samsung bespoke combo washer/dryer units that is a heat pump design, and it has run that thing flawlessly. And with those panels outside, it hasn’t been plugged into the grid for about 7 months now! Using the sun to wash my clothes is so cool! It’s fully topped back off each day, and even with a little cloud cover, it recovers nicely since I over-paneled it. I’ve been so impressed with this unit, that I ended up diving in deep and purchased 2 of their ultra systems (12kWh each), a smart home panel 2 and over 11kW worth of panels in my back yard! We’ve had a couple power outages where I am at, I didn’t notice they happened until I saw all of the other houses in my neighborhood were dark… haha. Even better is my electric bill is all but non-existent.

Inicialmente compre la batería con sus paneles ya que vivo en Walk-Up Terrero y pense en que no hiba a tener el espacio para poder instalar paneles permanentes. Rápidamente al recibir el producto me di cuenta, despues de algunas pruebas de que los paneles portátiles no estan diseñados para dejarlos 24/7 afuera. Rápidamente me comunique con servicio al cliente de Ecoflow a través de Amazon y tanto Hannah como Alice procedieron a autorizarme la devolución de los paneles pese a que estaba fuera de la ventana de devolución por unos dias. Asi que saludo 👋 a ellas 2 fueron excelentes 5/5. Cuando finalmente recibi la Devolución procedi a comprar dos paneles Bifaciales 550w y le calleron como anillo al dedo a las baterias ya que sin problema puedo obtener el maximo de carga solar que son 1kw. Este sistema lo compre para reducir mi costo eléctrico y tambien para estar listo para los apagones frecuentes de mi pais Puerto Rico. Asi que compre un transfer switch y lo instale a mi apartamento y básicamente tengo la unidad conectada 24/7 la llevo probando con todo instalado cerca de 1 semana y todo va muy bien ya que la tengo conectado prácticamente a todos los electrodomésticos de mi apartamento excepto consola de aire, calentador lavadora, secadora y estufa. Obviamente con una sola bateria no puedo cubrir las necesidades electricas asi que cuando el sol termina durante el dia la batería tiene una funcion muy util dentro Energy Management llamada Back-Up reserves donde permite cargar la batería cuando la energía del sol no es suficiente y tambien cuando no cuentas con luz solar permite que solo consumas la cantidad necesaria para que puedas utilizar tus electrodomésticos. Es una gran funcion ya que no tienes que cargar la batería al 100% y puedes esperar a la mañana para que se carge con energia solar. Lamentablemente Back-Up Reserves no esta funcionando como deberia ya que al activar la funcion hay bug actualmente que consta en que cuando detecta energia solar y tienes la batería conectada al outlet de electricidad provoca que la unidad se apague y aparezca en la pantalla mensaje de Overloading. Inicialmente cambie el outlet de electricidad de mi casa pensando que podia estar dañado, lo cual no solucionó el problema, asi que contacte a Servicio al cliente a través de la aplicación de Ecoflow y la persona que me atendio realmente no tenia idea al parecer de ninguna funcion de la batería. Procedi a comunicarme con Hannah y Alice atravez de Amazon y nuevamente me atendieron con mucha amabilidad y se noto que entendieron el problema actualmente no hay una solución para corregir el problema. Buscando en los foros pude encontrar que este problema lo trajo la ultima actualización. Por esa razon no puedo darle 5 estrellas al producto ya que no todos van a ser como yo que tienen un conocimiento basico de estas cosas mucha gente no va saber que esta pasando y van a pensar que la batería esta defectuosa. Una vez corrigan el bug actualizare mi reseña. Fuera de eso estoy cotento con el producto, tanto asi que hoy acabo de comprar las 2 baterias adicionales para tener 6k.

Better than the jackery! I have both and this one holds power better, though is slower to charge just by a little bit. Worth the slower charge for the better functionality. It’s heavy but moveable.

This is an excellent solar power station and has enough capacity for at least some basic necessities when the power goes out. Using this currently after hurricane Idalia, it is keeping the lights on, the refrigerators cool (1 full size and 1 smaller), the internet running (fiber modem, firewall, 2 switches), and the TV on and lasting 10 hours on a charge during this initial run. The solar panels will be an adventure as you will end up chasing the sun for an optimal charge rate but when running at peak it will charge the 2 kwh power station in 5 hours. Strongly recommended as at least a good starting point to get away from a gas generator. Keep in mind you can add two more battery units to this system for a 6kwh system.

I like that it arrived 4 days after ordering on Amazon. It arrived with 30%charge on the battery. We bought it discounted about 50% off on sale. The generator and solar panels arrived in three boxes, well packaged, undamaged. It took my wife and I 5 minutes to unbox, plug in the panels to the generator and it was charging. The solar panels averaged 150-160 watts input under full sunlight each, so about 300-320 watts combined. With clouds they averaged 50 - 70 watts. The power sockets make it easy to plug in to power our appliances. Charging with both 200 watt panels, charged an average of 10% of the battery an hour, with sporadic cloud cover.

Bought the Delta 2 Max as a partial emergency backup power supply as well as camping trip accessory. I need to use a CPAP for sleeping, so that's one of the first tests I perform when checking out these solar generators. I run my CPAP normally as if it were plugged into the wall, with heat and humidity. I had previously purchased a competitor's product that had half the capacity as the Delta 2 Max. After a single night, not even a full night of sleep, only 6 hours really, the competitor's charge was down to 30%, which lead me to the conclusion that it would not be able to last more than one night. The Delta 2 Max, after a FULL night's sleep with a CPAP, was only down to 75%. The following night, having left the unit on in standby, not actually off, after another FULL night's sleep, down to 47%. To me, this means I would be able to use my CPAP for at least 4 nights in a row without worry. I say 4 because I would be able to regain some charge with the solar panels as well. Another great plus is that I did not hear the cooling fans kick on at all. It could be that the unit didn't require the fans to turn on, or it could be that they were just that quiet. Again, the competitor's unit kicked the fans on periodically throughout the night, enough to actually wake me up from my slumber. All this in a package in similar size to the competitor means I'm definitely keeping this and will look towards EcoFlow for future projects. Highly recommend
