Works as should. Have a slim area to mount with weather proof box excellent.

The unit is not what is shown in the photo & tried to make it work for the area I planned on using it. They need to figure out a different way to make it rotate because once it's mounted, you can not tighten the pressure screw to help keep it from turning.

Sturdy, solid, and makes storing my TV in a narrow spot perfect. When I want to watch I pull out and swivel.

I bought this with the hope that when not in use I could rotate the tv to portrait orientation and push against the wall. The mount seems well made but the rotate function is simply a ball/socket arrangement with no stops or detents at horizontal/portrait positions and spins with little resistance so tv hangs crooked because the socket is too loose. If you have no need for the rotate function definitely look elsewhere.

I had a unique need with the only suitable tv area being near a doorway with drywalled fireplace protruding on the other side - this thing works perfect. Definitely does not hold portrait on its own BUT I only needed portrait for storing away when not watching. I was able to position the mount so it rests flush against the protruding area when in portrait position.Was VERY hesitant because of the reviews, but this does exactly what I need it to and holds normal tv position with no issues.

I have a vaulted ceiling upstairs. Works great but will not stay up against the wall. I will have to find a hook to hold it back.

Truly full range of motion. Arrived on time, as described, and it was relatively easy to install.
