Powerful steam and makes ironing so much easier!
Very impressed with this Rowenta steam station. It heats up quickly and produces a lot more steam than a regular iron, which makes getting wrinkles out much faster and easier. It works especially well on dress shirts and heavier fabrics. The iron glides smoothly, the water tank holds plenty of water, and the overall quality feels excellent. It definitely makes a job I normally don’t enjoy much quicker. Very happy with this purchase!

Stopped working too soon
I need support for my Rowenta iron. It has been less than a year, and it is already starting to leak, and then the steam pressure goes on by itself without stopping until I turn it off. I have kept the proper maintenance on it since i previously owned one that lasted almost 5 years without any issues. please help, since I love this iron, but it has gone defective too soon.

The Best Seam Iron Station
Rowenta makes the BEST irons ever! I just replaced my Rowenta Steam Iron Station with the latest available. The water reservoir is the perfect size and easy to fill. Since the iron itself is separate from the reservoir container it makes it much lighter than a steam iron. I sew so the ability to have a forceful steam is most important. Rowenta always delivers! In this newer version I have only one downside....the iron shuts off after a short period of time when not in use. As I am up and down from my sewing machine between seams I now find I don't have my heated iron ready and waiting and have to give it some time to reheat...this is disappointing. In the "terrible" directions it "shows" that you can make it so that it will not shut off but the directions are murky at best....I just cannot figure it out. If you are looking for an iron that will go for a long time without having to refill the water for steam this is a perfect choice. I still love it but wish I could figure out how to keep the iron from shutting down while I sew! My previous Rowenta steam stations never shut down unless I turned them off. Oh and just for safety I always shut it off when not in use and also unplug it.

Unsatisfactory packaging
The package came looking smashed up! There was no inner packaging. The iron was bouncing around loose inside the box when I picked it up off of my porch. The botton for steam looks scuffed! The appliance itself, being the Rowenta quality I expect, does not seem to be cracked anywhere. And at first try, it doesn't seem to be leaking.

Good steam station for professional sewist (iron is on 3-4 hours a day at a minimum)
I have bought several steam stations (Reliable $899, this Rowenta prof steam station, in 1999 owned a Delonghi steam station which is very similar to this Rowenta one). I have a professional sewing business and my iron is on for hours. I love the cork handle which reduces stress on the wrist and love a heavy iron. Those home irons just does not do the job. The steamer on this works very well. Heats up fast and works remarkably well. Water capacity is good, however the water does evaporate after turning off and I go through jugs and jugs of distilled water. If you want a steam station with good water capacity, fast heating, ergonomic and weight, this is for you. Cost is inline with the product. My Reliable was very pricey and it broke down in less than one year. I ALWAYS purchase the warranty (3-4 years) depending on cost due to the usage of the appliance and cost to repair. I was able to return the Reliable and purchased this one. It has broken down on me once and I sent it in for repair (covered under warranty) and it was fixed within 3-4 days and the sole plate was cleaner than ever! I have to admit that I do not clean it out as instructed and had to do a extensive clean recently (have had it for 2+ years now). I use distilled water only to reduce the mineral calcification. However, I had issues trying to figure out why brown water was still coming out after a thorough clean of the boiler. As it turned out, there was calcification on the sole plate which I cleaned with baking sode and water (paste) and also wiped with vinegar. Then I turned the iron on hot and sprayed distilled water on it to clean everything out. it took a while before the brown discharge went away. Needless to say, i will now clean it monthly! Good buy from a seasoned iron user and have bought several professional grade irons.

No me gustó
En febrero compré esta plancha y ahora ya se me descompuso, la verdad así no vale la pena porque es mucho lo que se paga para que en 7 meses la tenga que llevar a componer y lo peor es que no hay garantía.🫤

Came with unusable plug
The product was delivered with a US plug despite being sold on Amazon UK, and nothing about this being mentioned in the description. The representative at Rowenta customer services was rude and told me he had no idea why.

Recommend with no reservations.
I dithered for days, before buying because of the price and because I was looking for Tefal models, which my sisters in Germany own and which are not available in Canada, and I am entirely happy— A big plus is the ability to release the steam blast at will, after positioning the iron where it is wanted- a great perk for sewers . Also the steam cord is generously long and does not tangle, unlike that of the Tefal. I tackled a huge basket of very crumpled clothing dating back to August, and finished all easily and very quickly! Yuhuh:)

Worth Every Penny
This iron deserves 100 stars. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about it. As a humble housewife, this has completely transformed ironing from a chore into something almost enjoyable. It glides effortlessly, cuts my ironing time in half, and leaves clothes looking far better than my previous top-of-the-line traditional iron ever did. Absolutely worth every penny. Ironically, it was a Mother’s Day gift — but it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. 🤩
