46" Jacket + 40" waist fits as expected (this is a "drop 6") suit.
I bought this for a gig my band had for Le Dรฎner en Blanc. I'm the drummer and since playing in a suit can be a challenge I wanted to make sure that a) I had something I could move in, and b) didn't cost too much because of the likelihood of it getting dirty/stained in the course of the gig. I'm 6' even and weigh 225lbs. I typically wear 38"-39" waisted pants/jeans w/ a 30" inseam. NOTE: You need to have these pants fitted/hemmed. They pant legs are purposefully long so you can have a tailored fit. Local seamstress did mine for $10. I figured a 40" waist pants would be fine since I'll be sitting down the most of the time and wearing a belt (I ended up going the suspenders route). I will say the 40" waist measurement on these pants will not be forgiving if you're finding 40s a bit snug now. I suggest you wear light colored boxers or briefs under the pants. While not completely see-through, I was wearing black boxers when I first tried the pants on and could tell. I wore grey boxers and was fine. The 46" jacket fit well, sleeve and tail lengths were appropriate. The jacket is lined and has interior pockets. As with all suit jackets, the front pockets need to be "released" meaning they are stitched shut so you'll need to cut the thread to open them up.I bought my white tie and the new shirt at Kohls. The hat, glasses, dress socks, and shoes were purchased here on Amazon. I wear a 10.5-11 size shoe, ordered a size 10.5 and they still fit larger, closer to a 11.5-12. Those are going back, but I would re-order them in a size 10.For those interested here are the links to the ensemble items:Hat - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J6JUN1Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Glasses - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWJ1SQQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Socks - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBYR4U7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Shoes - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GNWCZKB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Oh yeah, baby!
This is the best $70 suit I've ever bought. Most of my suits cost ten times that, but this little number is a great deal, and its workmanship is excellent. The fit is perfectly tapered to my athletic build. If you're on the porky side, you won't be happy. You will need to hem the pants. They are not hemmed, but the ends are serged, so they're clean. I got out my sewing machine and had them blind-stitched in under a half-hour. You can partially see through the pants, but with any white suits, that's almost always an issue. Wear white underwear, white socks. The coat hides the pockets and your shirt tails, pretty well. I bought a white vest to go with it, and the effect is truly pimp. Add a white hat, white shoes, pink shirt with collar bar and cufflinks, white tie. Whew, you'll be fighting the ladies off, no lie! My girlfriend cracked up, at first, but then - - - happy ending! Forget the negative reviews in here. They sound like they're from the competition. This is a 100% poly suit, so don't expect to be wearing it comfortably, all day, in very hot weather. You'll need to seek out AC, or contend with sweating a great deal. If that's the case, remember that plastic doesn't absorb sweat. It could get, decidedly, uncomfortable. Still, for about $70, don't complain. It's a rockin' suit!Notes: I'm cracking up, reading some of the negative reviews: The woman who complained about the "big black label" sewn on the outside sleeve has never bought a suit before, obviously. That label is baste stitched on, my dear, it's meant to be removed. Ditto, to the guy who complained that the pockets are fake, as they have stitches that keep them closed. Get a seam ripper, buddy, and use it with caution. The fellows that said the suit isn't white perhaps need their eyes checked. My suit is bright white. To the folks who can't understand things: This suit is described as a six-drop. That means that the waist of the pants will be six inches less than the jacket chest size. If you buy a size 40, your pants will have a 34 waist. Again, this is a great deal, for the money.

BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK ANYWHERE
With all the bad feedback posted by some people, I was hesitant even to try this product. Nevertheless, because I've had trouble finding a white suit I like--and I've tried several from other companies--I decided to give this one a try. It arrived today and truly exceeded all my expectations. This is not to say that it's competitive with a custom-made suit from Savile Row; but it's as good a bang for the buck as you're likely to find anywhere. I heartily recommend it to anyone who is in the market for an affordable and stylish white summer suit. Since I have wide shoulders and a narrow waist, I found the coat to be a little boxy; but, at this price, I can afford to have it altered to fit my body type. So how much did I like it? I immediately got on the internet and ordered another one. That's how much I liked it.

Overall happy with the look
Overall happy with the look, especially for the price. I am more of a 43R with big shoulders, but ordered the 42R and the jacket fit fine all around including the sleeve length. The pants had a bit of stretch in the waist, so even though I am a 33 they fit fine, of course had them hemmed in a day for $11. I originally ordered a different white suit from another online retailer but they messed up in their shipping, so this one for 1/2 the price of theirs was a deal. I bought this for Diner en Blanc and will look forward to using again next year.
