They give excellent traction, and I can walk and even run in confidence on snow and ice. I've so far taken several tromps through the snow with these, walking and jogging in the woods, on icy roads, and over frozen swamps. They work great. They are kind of hard to get on your shoes. My feet are men's size 8 and a half, I wear these over running shoes (what we used to call sneakers), and the size medium (which is supposed to fit sizes 8-10), is hard to get on over my running shoes. Probably it has to be this way, that if they don't fit really tight they'll fall off? I don't know, one of mine fell off the first time I wore them, but now I use the velcro straps that are included, and have had no problems since. I'm leaving them on my shoes, so the next time I won't have to struggle putting them on. I recommend these, but they seem to run a bit small, and probably even more so if you plan to wear them over boots. The price might be high for anyone just looking for something for occasional or casual use, but they're pretty sturdy and worth the price if you do a lot of walking or running in the winter. One more thing: They add some weight to your feet, and on a long tromp you'll feel it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ ok, but heavy *by W***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2015* These are made pretty well , but on my size 12 men's sneakers the large are really tight fitting and take some work to get them on. Not something I'd want to take off and put on often. The added weight is extremely noticeable and that is my biggest disappointment with these. I finally did a short google search on running ice cleats and found a wealth of information about using sheet metal screws on your sneakers. I picked up some #8 1/2 inch sheet metal screws and using my drill with the correct drill attachment, I screwed them right into the sole of my older sneakers. they are very solid and the minimal added weight isn't noticeable. Tried them out in the driveway and seem like they are going to be awesome. You can buy a pack of 100 of these screws for about 5 bucks. I put about 17 screws in each sneaker and with the drill they go in quick. If your sneakers have really thin soles near the toe end you can use slightly shorter screws there. If need be you can unscrew them after the winter season and your sneakers are back to normal and good to go. Kold Kutter atv traction screws of the same size should work well too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended by a Wisconsin winter runner! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2017* Today, I ran approximately 5 miles with Stabilicers Sport Lightweight Serious Traction Cleat for the first time. The size small stretched to accommodate my size 8 women's running shoe (see pictures). It has a very snug fit... I did not feel the need to use the included velcro straps, and I did not have any issues with the cleat feeling loose or stretching during the run. The weight of the cleats did not affect my run; they are comfortably lightweight. I encountered light snow, ice, and patches of open pavement on my run, and I did not slip. I could hear studs "clicking" when I ran on open pavement. Why four stars? Considering the miles that I ran + road/sidewalk conditions... the studs do show signs of wear. If a runner plans to use them for "high milage" on a frequent basis, one should consider ordering the replacement studs.
