Shorter than expected, both top down and bottom up

My daughter finds them comfortable but we should have sized up since she has a muscular backside.By size chart the XS should have given her extra room but they end higher on her cheeks than is comfortable for her and since they are low rise (which she needed for under her dance costume) they can't be tugged down.

I'm always looking for shorts to throw over my leotard, and these are great. They aren't expensive, they fit comfortable, they're extra stretchy. They *are* very short though (basically like cheerleading shorts).
