Protects if it s not too big.

For a small it surely does not fit like a small. WAY TOO BIG! I have really skinny forearms so every time I block with these things on my arms they twist around so that the padding does not protect my arms, and resulted in bone to bone contact; which is not a problem if you only practice a few times in a row (and not at full speed) but otherwise major bruising. I'm thinking on returning both of these products to get even smaller ones.And as a note my brother who is significantly larger then I had the same problem.I would suggest sizing down significantly.
