I really hate the flimsy low quality products our throw away society creates. This is anything but that.The quality is top notch, does exactly what you want and looks like it will last for ever. Yes, you pay 5 times the price of other brands, but it's worth every penny in my opinion.Clamping force is good, but not take off my finger strong. A nice rubber insert helps create a perfect seal. and a smooth design with no sharp edges ensures if you drop it, your floors will not get chipped and your feet will not get cut.There clearly thought through all of the details to make the perfect clip!

Wr like the size, functionality and looks. But the magnet is just OK. The plan was to use them on a cabinet door, where we installed a magnet on the back side of the door, and we hoped that it will be enough for it to hang to. But even though we use a very strong magnet, it didn't. Luckily, we had spares of the strong magnets, and attaching the clip directly to one of them and them the combination to the door works.

Pro: These are the largest clips I've ever found that actually work for closing family size bags of tortilla chips with ease. They are not magnetic, so you do have to find room for them in a drawer. OXO clips are very sturdy and you only need one of them to firmly close open bags of any potato or corn chips, cough drops or similar items. I wouldn't use them for heavy bags of sugar, flour or any item that would likely attract ants or mice. Those items do better in lock and lock type plastic storage containers and I have use those for long term storage purposes.Con: I wish they also came with magnets on them so that I could store it on the side of my refrigerator instead of a drawer. The smaller clips do have small magnets on them for that option.

Oxo usually makes superior products, and these clips are no exception. The thoughtful design and engineering usually more than justify the cost. I previously purchased the other mixed selection of bag clips from Oxo, and was so impressed, I decided to get these when it was time for more clips. I prefer the size and shape of these over those in the mixed set. These are the perfect compromise size. The spring tension is perfect. Not too hard to open, and not too soft to stay on a rolled up chip bag. The inner jaws on these have rubber non-slip inserts that help keep these from falling off bags. The part where you press these together to open them is comfortable on the fingers, with smooth, rounded, wide surfaces.
