LockNFlate Locking Air Chuck - Six Steel Jaws Lock onto Any tire Valve - Won't Leak or pop Off - Rated to 150 PSI - Open Flow

I hesitated so long before buying this because of the many reviews that say it leaks air, but finally pulled the trigger and got one for the Milwaukee tire inflator. Today I inflated 8 tires for 2 cars and had no issues at all, it grabbed so tight every time and did not leak at all. I did use the plumbers tape when installing it. Very solid build quality, heavy duty. I really love it so far.

These are fantastic. The grease fittings are amazing so as expected these are equally great. Attach with no leaks and hold, simple done! I expect long life but only time will tell. Have them on my garage inflator and the Milwaukee M18 in the truck. Will update if anything changes.

I used the LockNFlate branded 1/4 NPT to Schrader adapter, with purple Permatex hydraulic thread sealant on the 1/4" NPT threads as I always do, I find it is a better seal than teflon tape and provides some threadlocking capability as well (I'd rank it between blue and red threadlocker strength). Just a quick turn with a 9/16" open ended wrench and it was perfect on the LockNFlate open flow inflator chuck. First time I clamped onto the Schrader valve of my tire, it sealed up just fine without any leaks. The Milwaukee M18 Inflator onboard gauge is also dead accurate. It matched my JACO gauge down to the tenth of a psi. I was genuinely impressed with the performance of the Milwaukee M18 Inflator along with the LockNFlate chuck, as well as this 1/4 NPT to Schrader valve adapter. I find that I may have to push the chuck deeper onto the Schrader valve and not simply just slip it over. Releasing it is easy as the spring action actually pushes the chuck away from the tire valve for minimal air loss. I highly recommend the M18 Milwaukee Inflator with the LockNFlate chuck and 1/4 NPT adapter combo. It may be pricey overall but after having used a variety of cordless inflators as well as air compressors, this is by far the most convenient.

This chuck screws onto 1/4" pipe thread which to the layman sounds pretty small but the actual threads are bigger than some of the small devices out there. I had barb fittings with the appropriate threads on the other end so i made myself a hose with connectors that fit my digital rubberized grip nozzle. My major criticism is the amount of pressure required to open the jaws and the lack of smoothness too. There might be a break in period...who knows. Even though it works on my Honda vehicles, I think this is a great product for larger vehicles. The company should consider designing a light weight version for smaller vehicles too. I use a Lock N Lube grease fitting gripper that i love because it makes my life so much easier and therefore I'm more likely to grease my equipment. Good company making good products.

The chuck that came with my tire inflator gauge was just a cheap, standard chuck. It never really grabbed squarely onto my tire valve stems. I had to keep one hand on it pressing inward and I would still get air leaks. This chuck is a little pricy but much better quality. The teeth are chunky, the product itself is chunky. You can feel the stoutness right out of the package. It locks onto your valve stems securely so no need to keep a hand on it. I get more accurate PSI readings on my gauge and a quicker fill-up since there is no air loss. Screwed onto my existing male 1/4" NPT so nothing to complain about. I recommend.

I repair a lot of lawn tractors. Often that involves changing tires. I have the tools for the tires but I only had the chuck to inflate them. With this one you take the valve center out and blow air directly into the tire. There is a squeeze lever on the side and this opens the grip on the valve. Let go and it closes over the threads and hold tight. The beads weren't out to the shoulders of the rim like they are supposed to be. I clipped the tool on the valve and opened the air supply from my compressor and it took about 5 seconds to hear the beads setting. I squeezed the lever again to release the grip and it popped right off. Gives the big blast of air like the pro tire machines. Makes life so much easier. Sometimes I get good results with the air chuck. But I've never gotten the results as quickly and I didn't have to try all those tricks like squeezing the tire in the center or the more dangerous tricks I probably shouldn't mention here.

I was a little skeptical after trying various other fittings. I use this with my Powertank CO2 system for tyre inflation. Get the OPEN version if using a trigger gauge. This locks on well once you give it a good push on and release the lever. No leaks and fast to attach/detach. I gave the moving parts a bit of motor oil just to smooth the action and reduce any potential wear

Hard to come by, but a fantastic addition to a tyre inflator such as my Milwaukee. Really helps attaching quickly to the tyre valve. Just remember if buying outside the USA, the thread on the air supply side is NPT.

This is the ultimate air chuck. After using their grease connector for several years when I saw they had an air fitting I knew I had to have it. Installation was easy and now I get a quick, reliable,leak free connection to fill tires. I used a small adapter connect the lock-n-flate to my Milwaukee M18 inflator.
