We use one room inside our house as the gym with my indoor cycling setup, weights, etc. I spend hours at a time riding and dripping sweat in there several days a week especially during the Winter. Even with opening the windows and constant cleaning I would not advise guests to step in that room.The first month of using this little dehumidifier I was emptying it every other day. Now it only needs it once every other week. The room feels fresh and this made all the difference.Very happy with this purchase. highly recommended

It is pretty easy to tell that this works based on how much much water gets collected. Warm air comes out, water comes in. This works especially well in small spaces since the water accumulation is not nearly as fast as something else, like an AC. The only gripe I have is that the sensitivity is a bit too high - sometimes when I step too hard next to it, it starts blinking red (indicating that it's "tilted"). Overall, it is a great product that works well!

The small bathroom in my D.C. apartment does not have an exhaust fan. So I purchased this mini-humidifier to help keep the bathroom dry, especially during and after showers. Other than a cranky on/off button, it worked quite well for nearly a year. It consistently pulled 16 ounces of water from the air every few days. But it recently stopped dehumidifying. The motor still runs and the lights still flash. But it no longer collects even a drop of water. Nothing else changed. I cleaned the filter and the water tank every month. It was kept in the same spot and was plugged into the same outlet. I tried and failed to contact the seller and manufacturer Other buyers have had a similar (or worse) experience. Very disappointing.

We've been running this unit for 3 months now in the small room (4x8) used for all our water/well infrastructure. We originally relied on overflow/condensation pans to catch the dripping from the well pipes, pressure tank, and water softener containers. Unfortunately, that also meant regular mopping out of the pans all summer to prevent mold buildup in the both the closet and in the pans. Since using this little unit, the amount of dripping and overall condensation has reduced considerably. I'm wondering if running 2 would eliminate the problem entirely. My only negative for the unit is the warning that says it can produce enough heat that you need to keep from contacting flammable surfaces. I've never noticed it becoming hot, but we were careful with placement anyway. The small tray that collects the moisture is easy enough to use and would be reasonably convenient if the unit were sitting up on something. Ours needs to sit on the floor in order to use the only outlet in the water closet, and it's a bit of a pain to remove and reinsert after emptying because the tray sits on the very bottom of the unit. Overall, we're very satisfied with it, and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for moisture control in small spaces.

Size is convenient and really effective in smaller room s. You can easily move to other rooms with ease. Good value for my money. One thing I ran was that the mechanism used to turn on the machine with be hit or miss. Everything would be in place but it simply would not turn on without outside influence. I would tilt it so that the magnetic switch could reach the threshold but I later settled this issue with some tape but i lose the automatic shutoff feature with that solution.

great price works extremely well very quiet motor

Bought this in March of this year for our bathroom since we don't have an exhaust fan in our 1950's built house. It worked amazing and did it's job dehumidifying the bathroom. Stopped working last week on us. If you need a short term option, great for the price. Just don't recommend it for long term.

I bought two of these for my house’s bedrooms and they work great for them. The light makes a nice touch for ambiance, nightlight, and for alerting if it’s full or not workingIt has an anti-tilt feature, which is great with my cats, so it shuts off and flashes if it’s jostled. The tank is also bigger than I expected, I only have to empty it every other day or so but it makes a huge difference in my sheets and carpet not being moist anymore.
