Study Guide: One Hundred Years of Solitude Paperback – 18 Feb 2012

I was sorely disappointed by this book. I was aware that "One Hundred Years of Solitude" was a classic, a highly complex story, original and I felt I had failed to do it justice, get behind the saga. The study guide gave me the saga which was helpful insofar as I'd read the book a year before, but did little to take me into a deeper understanding of the rich presentation "Solitude" gives of an era, a civilisation, a family. Moreover the English was poor which was offputting.

Very sketchy guide; a little detailing would have been helpful
