This was a great purchase for door entry protection! They were easy to install, very sturdy, easy engagement latches and the quality was impressive! A great value!

Came as one solid piece, ready to go with only the spacers for the door depth needing to be selected. Put it up with a simple screwdriver in 15 minutes. I was nervous about it locking on its own but it is really very secure. For peace of mind when I leave home I throw a hair tie around it, the nature of the lock means it wont shut with anything in the way, so no chance of being locked out. It probably wouldn't have anyway, but then I also probably wont ever need such a beefy lock either!

If someone wants to get in, they're probably gonna. These give a bit more peace of mind and that's what the Queen of this castle wants, well all righty then. Maybe a few more seconds to lock and load too, am I right?! Now they do deter but if you have an apartment hollow core cardboard door you may want a few or better a steel door! On a glass door... why? Well the product is quality, so nicely built with extras to custom install really long screws which btw your normal dead bolt locks should already have. Most have stupid tiny 1/2 inch screws, pop they're out in a second, they need 5 or 6 inch screws minimum Please! It takes a couple minutes to replace them. I put one one the front door and back and think I might put one more on the bedroom door too. An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure. I think of all "this type" of deterrences out there, it's the best quality, easily installed, most peace of mind for your money. I like it!

I had been looking for a secondary lock for my front door. When I found FlipLok, I knew this was the answer. Although, I had to modify my door trim and door frame to make it look like it came with the house. The result looked nice and the FlipLok matched my door hardware. Excellent product. And it’s so simple to use. Plus I know my front door is secure when it’s in place.

Good lock. However, you must tighten completely. Otherwise, it can loosen over time and the pin will fall out.

I am in love with this security lock. We have bought other options available in the market and by far this is the best one. So let me tell you what we loved: We installed this super quickly so it is an easy install you can do in 15mins or less. I love that it is super easy to open, you don’t have to struggle trying to open it at all. It’s an easy and smooth transition from open to close you can even do it with one finger. We have had other locking mechanisms where you have to put your weight against it to open it. Not the case here. If you try to open the door from the outside when the lock is on, the lock does not budge or leave any opening where someone could stick a tool to try to open your door. Things to consider: We purchased this to secure our doors since our little one already learned how to turn nobs. I do recommend you place this at a height that only an adult can reach. It is a little on the bulky side and may not be aesthetically pleasing for some, so buy one that matches your door style.

Excellent Lock, simple to install & works as advertised.

Very well made product. But I could not use it as the door would not open and got stuck before the round part even though the plate sat well between the door and the jam . I believe there needed more space between these 2 surfaces and It would have been useful if the description had stated the minimum space needed here. So unfortunate because its the best flip lok I have seen
