RECOMMENDED?Yes. I was hesitant making this purchase, but I'm glad I did.PROS:I am pleased with the quality for the price. The case is easy to install and fits perfectly on the tablet. It feels robust, so I'm confident dropping (okay, throwing!) the tablet onto the couch or my bed, or putting it into my bag. The option to use the stand in portrait mode is clever design - other cases need to adopt this approach. Finally, the hand strap at the back is useful and it can be removed if not used.This is the main reason I won't be taking this off my tablet ever. The biggest surprise for me was how the tablet is much more ergonomic. A consequence of the added thickness is it fits very nicely in the hand., as the narrow edges of the tablet are now rounded. Amusingly, the pen holder on the back actually acts like a small grip. The rubber even feels nice and smooth. In fact, sometimes I kick my wife out of the bed and as I now prefer my tablet.CONS1. The speakers are now covered. When I'm watching a film, I turn the volume up. I haven't noticed a change in the sound quality.2. While the protective bezel doesn't prevent me swiping from the sides of the tablet, this might be something to consider if you have especially large hands or you're clumsy.3. Understandably, the tablet is now noticeably heavier. Keep in mind this wont be a case you remove regularly as it's a bit of a faff to take off.4. My only real complaint would be the appearance of the plastic. While it's strong, I would've chosen a more matte finish. It has a shine to it and a texture which gives it an appearance of being slightly cheap.
