How to Stop the End of the World: Embark on a thrilling adventure with this funny new book for kids

Both my sons love Tom Mitchell’s books. My youngest, now 10, couldn’t wait for this new book and is currently devouring it. Perfect to get them off a screen and into a book.

This is another brilliant book from Tom Mitchell. I love his writing style, especially the humour! I felt I was actually there with them in the graveyard. Hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next adventure.

As a school librarian, I find it hard to find genuinely funny books that aren't simply formulaic. Every single one of Mitchell's books are laugh out loud funny. The plots are exciting, and the 'voice' of the children in his stories are pitched perfectly. This latest book is an adventure story, rooted in fantasy but also completely believable. I loved it, and I know the students in my school will love it as well!

I’ve been reading Tom Mitchell’s books to my niece and nephew and they’ve been desperate for the next one to come out - we’re flying through it and they’re laughing their little heads off. He has a wit and style that you don’t see from many kids’ authors: I’m sure we’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book as soon as we’re done with this one!

Always love Tom Mitchell’s books. They are so great for the reluctant readers in the 9-14 age. A great adventure that feels like you’re watching a film but has that witty narrative voice that makes it a fun read!Mitchell captures that secondary school summer holiday feeling of the weeks stretching out before you with their endless possibilities that’s always a joy to revisit!

I was very excited to recieve this latest Tom Mitchell book after the anticipation of pre-ordering it.I found the plot so interesting and mysterious that I read it all in one day! I also liked the way I was written.My favourite book so far.
