Why doesn't the shredder work after plugging in?

The cross-cut shredder is jammed. What should I do?

Please switch to REV mode and stay for 3-5 seconds. Then pull out the jammed paper. Please repeat the operation 2-3 times if there is a serious jam.

Why is the number of sheets that can be shredded lower than the maximum number of sheets described?

Please check if the paper is damp, contains plastic or too thick, if so, please let the paper dry before shredding, or remove the plastic part, or reduce shredding sheets per pass. The maximun shredding capacity is 18 sheet.
