Swapping between Fahrenheit and Celsius requires pushing a tiny button on the back casing. It takes a thumbnail to press it properly, which prevents accidental switches when sticking it to the fridge. For twenty-five bucks for a three pack, getting basic monitoring across three separate zones in my house feels like a fair trade. I bought these three not just for the information they provide, but because of the humidity factor which can affect my breathing in my asthma. I purchased several TempPro thermometers, but I didn’t buy any with the high low temperature and high low humidity. If the humidity isn’t right, I have asthma attacks so these are great hygrometers for that reason. I’ve always found this brand to be very efficient and on the money. They came with batteries and the batteries last quite a long time they have a large display so you can see them across the room. They work right away and you just have to push one button on the back to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius, we can use the stand or the magnet. Very well-made items I bought the three pack and plan to get more to put in Barry‘s rooms.

I recently ran into some issues with my central air conditioner. Instead of opting to pay $5-$10k for a fix or replacement, I chose to get through this summer with portable units. I’m beginning to fear that may have been unwise. Anyway, I now have a number of portable air conditioners throughout the house, and I wanted to keep track of the temperature and humidity in each room. That helps me adjust the settings on each unit as needed. Putting these side by side, I got readings that were within a degree or two, if not exact. That’s good enough for me. Nothing seems to be exact anyway. That includes my central HVAC thermostat readings for temperature and humidity as well as the readings from several of my portable units that have remote and APP readings. The bottom line is that these work well enough. You just have to be a little patient and let them acclimate to whatever space you put them it. It takes a while for the readings to adjust to the new space. I thought about getting the ones with Bluetooth, but the reviews seemed to indicate all sorts of problems with them. Fortunately, I have WIFI cameras throughout the house, and I positioned these in locations that are in the view of the cameras. I just check my cameras to keep track of the readings. I know, ingenious! 😁 I ended up getting a couple of more of these, and I would definitely recommend them!

This digital thermometer and hygrometer is very easy to use and provides clear temperature and humidity readings. The display is easy to read, and the size is compact, so it fits perfectly in different rooms.

I think this is my 3rd time buying these. Over the years, I just about have one placed in every room of my 100 year old house. All of the exterior walls of the house are plaster, with no insulation, and the windows are single pane leaded glass. After replacing my HVAC system, I wanted to keep tabs on the temperature variations to see what's an old house problem vs a HVAC problem. These units work great that. They're fairly small, have both a stand and a magnetic back. Comparing these units to one another, and to my thermostats, the accuracy appears to be within 1 degree Fahrenheit.

This is my second time ordering these because I love them so much. At first I order a 2-pack. I ended up giving one to one of my neighbors. So I ordered these coasters after three pack this time. It comes with batteries so it’s ready to go as soon as it arrives. I have them in my kitchen, my bedroom closet and my bathroom. It’s super humid in Florida and I use these to monitor moisture levels in my apartment. I haven’t purchased a dehumidifier yet but I’m thinking that that may be next on my list because the hygrometers constantly read a high level of moisture in my apartment. These are a super handy gadget to have in your home. Also it has both a kick stand and a magnetic back so you can install anywhere with convenience.
