Sacrificial glass that doesn't ruin your photos? Sign me up!
Look, I’m going to be completely honest: I didn’t buy this 82mm K&F Nano-K filter because I was worried about atmospheric haze ruining my shots. I bought it because I am clumsy, I shoot outdoors a lot, and the thought of a stray branch or a gritty gust of wind scratching my front lens element gives me anxiety. This little ring of glass is essentially a bodyguard for my lens, and so far, it’s doing a stellar job! Here’s why it’s earned a permanent spot on my gear: Invisible Protection: The biggest fear with cheap UV filters is that they’ll turn your crisp images into a muddy, flared-out mess. Happy to report that this Nano-K glass is practically invisible. I’ve pixel-peeped my shots and I can’t see any loss of sharpness or weird colour casts. Contrast stays great, even when shooting towards the light. I have the more expensive X series and to be honest I can’t tell the difference. Smooth Operator: The aluminum frame is nice and slim (no ugly vignetting/dark corners on my wider shots) and the threads are pretty smooth. It screwed onto my 82mm Tamron lens perfectly without that horrible metal-grating-on-metal feeling you get with some ultra-budget filters. Cleaning is actually... easy? Usually, budget glass loves to smear grease around like a toddler with a crayon. Whatever coating K&F used on this Nano-K version actually works. Rain droplets bead up and roll right off, and dust wipes away with a quick blast of a blower and a microfibre cloth. Is it a £100 professional cinema filter? No. But for a highly affordable piece of glass that lets me not worry about scratches, damage or keeping my lens cap glued on every single second, it’s an absolute bargain. N.B. If I was using it on a £6000 lens I would probably splash out for the X series, but on a £900 one it’s more than adequate. Save yourself a future heartbreak and just buy one. Your lens will thank you!

Works well
As advertised, fits my zoom lens (12-60 micro 4/3) and with decent padding and robust external material represents good value for money

Constructed using Japanese Asahi glass, it offers quality at a value price
UV filters are a great fit-and-forget way to protect expensive lenses from scratches. This one is well made, fairly priced, and even comes in some of the most stylish packaging I’ve seen in a long time. A thoughtful extra is the vacuum-packed microfibre cleaning cloth — a genuinely useful addition to any camera bag. Made in China using Japanese Asahi glass, it offers quality at a value price. The slim profile and solid barrel grip make it easy to handle, and it protects my Canon lens with no noticeable loss in image quality. Fit and finish are excellent.

Great buy
The K&F CONCEPT 40.5mm Ultra Slim UV Filter is a really solid budget-friendly option if you just want simple lens protection without overthinking it. It’s very easy to use since it just screws straight onto the front of your lens, and the ultra slim design means it sits nicely without getting in the way or causing vignetting on wider shots. You can pretty much leave it on all the time and forget about it, which is exactly what you want from a UV filter. Where it really does its job is protecting your camera lens. It adds a layer against scratches, dust, fingerprints, and general wear, which is especially useful if you’re shooting outdoors or travelling. The glass is clear enough that it doesn’t noticeably affect image quality in most situations, which is always a concern with cheaper filters. It’s simple, reliable, and good value. It’s not the absolute highest-end filter out there, but for everyday use and peace of mind, it does exactly what you need.

K&F Concept 52mm UV Lens Filter
A very well made, Japanese Nano, K&F Concept 52mm UV Lens Filter. It threads onto the end of the 52mm RF lens. It is easy to fit onto the end of a new lens. The UV Filter comes with cleaning swabs to remove any dust and debris on lens and to clean the UV Filter. This keeps the gap between to be clean and clear. To adjust the UV polarisation, just twist it: = or \\ or // or ||. The filter is compatible with the Canon RF 52mm lens (the Nifty Fifty - for RF Cameras). Always add a protective UV lens when buy new glass. It is easier and cheaper to replace a UV filter than it is to have to buy a new lens. It protects the lens from UV, polarisation, bumps, walking into things, turning into things, dust, debris, rain, etc. It is very versatile in how it protect the end and is still able to connect the light hoods and rain hoods, flash, etc. I always use a K&F Concept filter on all my glass.

These UV filters add great protection for expensive lenses
These UV filters add great protection for expensive lenses and let's face it I think 90% of us at least are buying them for this reason, K&F also make really decent neutral density and polarising filters too which do a great job in bright sunlight or allow one to see fish swimming in a river or lake (or human waste courtesy of our water companies in the UK). I highly recommend K&F they're very reasonably priced and just as good as other offerings costing more than twice the price

Good value for good product
I have bought it for my Canon RF 28-70 F2. I thought I would need to spend tons of money for a filter which will keep secure and dust away from the lens. I was wrong: good price and good quality. I recommend it.

Excellent slim UV filter with no visible impact on image quality
I’m using this filter on a Fujifilm GFX 100S and have been very impressed with it. The filter is extremely thin, well made, and fits perfectly without causing any vignetting. Image quality remains excellent even on a high-resolution medium format sensor. I have not noticed any loss of sharpness, contrast, or color accuracy. Reflections are well controlled and the filter stays easy to clean. For the price, the build quality is surprisingly good. It provides reliable lens protection while remaining virtually invisible in everyday use. Highly recommended if you are looking for an affordable, slim UV filter that does not compromise image quality

Buona qualità a prezzo giusto

Protects my lens and my soul!
Got it for my EF-S 55–250mm f/4–5.6 IS. Worth It. Protection: I shoot outside a lot- car shows, dirt, pollen, flying bugs with attitude, and this thing’s been a great first line of defense. I'd rather clean or replace a filter than risk scratching actual glass. Bonus: no anxiety wiping it with a t-shirt if I have to. Optical Clarity: No weird color cast, no ghosting, and it hasn’t affected sharpness at all—even at 250mm. I was worried it might dull the image, but nope. Photos still come out crisp and contrasty. (note I have to stop this lens down to like f8 anyway as its pretty soft at 250) Build Quality: It’s super slim, threads on smoothly, and doesn’t feel like the bargain bin trash you sometimes get with cheap filters. Doesn’t get stuck, doesn’t rattle, and doesn’t look like a toy. ⚠️ Important Note: (I used an EMOJI, so you better read this!!!) CLEAN YOUR LENS WELL BEFORE PUTTING THIS ON. It threads on fine, but trust me, you don’t want to keep taking it off and on. Put it on once and leave it. Any dust, fingerprint, or oil on the front element WILL show up in your shots like a nasty watermark you didn’t ask for. Treat it like applying a screen protector, clean, then cover and LEAVE IT ON. Bottom Line: If you’ve got the 55–250mm or any 58mm filter size lens, grab this. Cheap peace of mind, no image degradation, and it saves you from the heartbreak of scratched glass or sneeze damage mid-shoot.
