Works well, simple
This is actually a pretty good tool. It's definitely not as good as an electronic stud finder but in a pinch this works. I like it because I can throw it in my pocket as I'm walking around through the house to hang pictures or other items I can just pull it out of my pocket and bam I got a stud. The concept is simple there is a magnet inside the back of the tool that looks for screws or nails once you find a screw or a nail it's easy to tell where the center of the screw is by the pull of the magnet. That doesn't mean that's the center of the stud because some installer probably missed the center of the stud by a little bit so you have to be creative and have a little bit of luck when you sink a screw into the wall and hope you hit the stud. 9 times out of 10 it's right and it's on and it works. The laser is very helpful when you're actually going to hang the picture or whatever it is you're putting up on the wall you can shoot a line across or up to the ceiling from below wherever it is you found the nail and easily put the screw or nail in the correct place on the wall.

Another fine Kreg find!
Kreg tools never disappoint, and this one works as anticipated. Easy to use, small enough for in the pocket and it’s dead accurate. I didn’t mind the price- works better than my expensive stud finder every time!

A stud finder with a laser and a level making a significant difference.
I ran across this on Facebook and immediately ordered one. When it arrived, I opened it and took it around the house to use it. The device works by locating the nail or screw used to attach the drywall to the stud, or finds metal stud. You may need to move the stud finder around a bit—think up and down, along with side to side— but when it finds a screw or nail, the magnet grabs onto it, and you can actually let go; it stays attached to the wall (or I was able to). I love the laser marker and level. I struggle to visualize a straight line, which makes it difficult for me to follow one to put in a screw if I am hanging or nailing something that needs to hit a stud. Now for the potential downside. If the build team was not so "on the mark" when building—and missed the stud and left the nail or screw in the drywall—you might get a false reading. I suggest that if you find a nail or screw, go up or down to confirm you find a row of them, not just one (or see if you find more nearby, which has happened to me). Like with anything else that uses a battery, I remove the batteries when I store it. Ziplock bags are your friend here, as I don't use a stud finder daily or weekly. This is a good device, and the addition of the laser and the level is an improvement on a standard stud finder.

Good enough
Pretty neat idea and works 70% of the time. If the drywall was secured with nails or screws on a wall painted a few times, the magnet isn't able to hold itself up. When it does hold though, it works really well.

Kreg stud finder
The Kreg stud finder appears to work great and could potentially save a lot of time and aggravation. I have not used it on an actual project yet but looks promising.

Not strong enough!
It's a good idea, but the magnet isn't strong enough to keep it on the wall. The device is also a bit heavy. If the magnet were bigger and the device less bulky, it would undoubtedly be one of the best finders on the market.

Powerful magnet and level Lazer to find studs.
This thing is great. It slides along the wall real smoothly and when you feel it grab you know you have found a nail or screw. Once you are stuck to a screw hit the button and level, you now have identified the stud. That is what it is foe for and it works real easy.

Buena luminosidad
Buena luminosidad del laser durante el día, sin embargo solo se puede nivelar en el sentido del láser, por lo que cuesta trabajo ajustar para perforaciones a 90 grados
