As others have commented this is an expensive item and should have automatically been packaged with the waste-disposal unit at a much reduced cost. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i use an airswitch on the insinkerator 46 model?**
A: As far as I know, it can be used for ANY make or model of waste disposal that has a 13 amp plug fitted, either as supplied or fitted by the user. Basically the air-switch assembly plugs into an adjacent power socket and the waste disposal plugs into the assembly socket, as shown in the picture. The air-switch then becomes just a remote in-line switch positioned in the sink or worktop. I have found it both practical and safe and would recommend it.

**Q: Is the switch operation press and hold to operate or press on/press off please.**
A: Mine is press on to start then press again to stop. You should also always run a tap through at the same time.

**Q: Does this fit the Insinkerator model 65?**
A: Hello,This will operate any 13amp electrical appliance including the model 65. New insinkerator models incorporate the air-switch into the unit whereas older models use this air switch kit whereby pushing the button turns the plug socket on and off.Kind regards,Andrew @ theWrightBuy

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice produce just overpriced

This item is pretty darn expensive for what it is (technically it's just a switch that is triggered by air pressure coming down a pipe). However it does the job perfectly well and is a must-have add-on for the basic level Insinkerator - I wouldn't fancy operating a wall switch with wet hands! Also the switch fits perfectly in the normal sink holes you get for the taps, and the supplied brushed stainless steel button looks good with our SS sink.
