Review: Not enough for the Aplied exam - I purchased this book to prepare for the ABA Applied exam. Some of the information is not accurate or up to date (for example it puts osteogenesis imperfecta as a high risk condition for malignant hyperthermia whereas the current literature doesn't support it). This book doesn't "teach" you the proper exam" language" and misses OSCE component. I think this book is potentially better suited for advanced exam. Review: Not up to date - It's okay. Too overwhelming, also not updated to recent evidence. NaCl 0,9% is simply not the fluid of choice. Also, rocuronium is the MR of choice for RSI, not sux. Waking up a patient is not an option in an emergency. Covers acute coronary syndrome but has no info about recent evidence and criteria including de Winter etc. Overall, def cannot recommend it although very detailed and informative.
