Put a ring on it...
Ok this is not a ring but it does loop around the steering wheel. This lock is so easy to use. Just wrap around the steering wheel, insert the key and lock it into the seat belt lock and done. What I do first is cock the wheel all the way, left or right before locking it, as a deterrent to being hitched from the rear wheels. I just store it behind the passenger seat for easy access. It came with not 2, but 3 keys. I wish they made one for catalytic converters, Lol. I would recommend this product

A layer of protection and easy to use.
I am extremely happy with this product, easy to lock and unlock. I use it as an added steering wheel security lock by wrapping it through the steering wheel and locking it in the seatbelt.

Peace of Mind for Ten Bucks
Other reviews I read mentioned that the locks were hard to use, but I think they're pretty fluid. I checked through all the options for something to keep my car from getting stolen, as I have to keep atleast 1 door unlocked at all times and I live in a city with pretty active criminals. This is definitely worth it because you can barely see it from outside so it doesn't advertise for passersby to come check the locks, and its good quality. Glad I caught it while it was overstocked for $9.99.

Too short even for my Smart Car
I purchased this when it was $9, and since ordering it last week it went up to $17. I bought it because it was only $9 and will keep it for the same reason, but I would have sent it back at $17. This review is in no way disparaging the seller. The item arrived fast and well packaged annd perfect condition. and the increased price is still less than other sellers have it listed for, but there are a few that also have it listed for $10.I own a 2015 Smart Car and the seat is already short, but the cable is three inches too short and I have to move my seat forward far enough to be able to squeeze out of the car, to get it to latch to my seatbelt. What is especially bad about this design is that the sear belt can easily be cut where it attaches at the base of the seat or a just use a pair of bolt cutters to cut the cable. I only bought it so that if someone breaks in my garage while I am away, I have a monitored alarm and it would slow them down long enough for the police to arrive. I liked the idea of it because the cable is much easier to toss under your seat than the club. However I would use the club if I were using a security device since thieves see the red handle before they smash your window and you also don’t have to keep moving your seats to allow it to fit . Also at $9 I would LSO use the cable with the club as double protection for peace of minD at $9, but not at $17. Also, be sure to inspect the lock to see how it woks before using it. Otherwise you won’t be able to remove it when you need to get some wear. In one review, the buyer could unlock it and ended up cutting it. The lock latches into your seatbelt and covers it so the release button can’t be pushed. The key allows you to turn the lock and it is like a cork screw and only pushes the release button on your seatbelt. I would make sure it works on the backseat seatbelt before using it on the drivers seatbelt. Pretty clever, but if the lock length isn’t long enough to release your seatbelt it won’t pen. Be sure to press down on the lock when opening it to allow the lock the shortest distance to depress the seatbelt release button. There is however a much better use for this cable and that is to use it to secure a suitcase or anything you can run the cable through the handle of. If I were a woman, and I carried a purse, I would run the cable through the straps of purse and then secure it to the passenger or back seat seatbelt. Obviously you wouldn’t leave it in a locked car since a thief would just cut the straps after breaking your window,. However it would stop a thief from just reaching in and grabbing it through an open window if you are stopped at a stoplight, and in some cities, thieves will break a window while your stopped and grab the purse. But leaving luggage or anything in the backseat that the cable will go through and the handle can’t be cut would be a good use for this cable. Also, this doesn’t fit my KIA optima, but my Kia does have a a fold down backseat compartment that opens up into the trunk to carry long skis and lumber. You could also secure anything in the trunk with the cable by running the cable from the backseat seatbelt to a luggage handle to prevent thieves from breaking a window to pop your trunk. But it reqlly comes down to price, and for $9 it seems like a good price point to have it in your car to secure luggage from an impulse thief. However it doesn’t protect you from a carjacking, nor would it stop a professional car thief intent on stealing your expensive car, and would suggest looking for something more secure then this seatbelt lock.

Locks your wheel greatly!
Will definitely be harder for a thief to steal your car. The only downside is it takes time to remove/install it compare to a bar lock. However between a bar lock and this lock, the wheel is unturnable. So if you live in an unsafe neighborhood, better get one of this!
