Great product
Amazing pasta maker. It will make pasta in just over 3 minutes. Or, you can make the mix and leave the mix to rest for 30 minutes and extrude your pasta later. this gives a slightly better texture. It will accept regular, pea protein and wholemeal flour. Itโs easy to make spinach, beetroot or egg pasta. the machine does all the weighing and maths to ensure a great result. Full instructions included. thereโs also a good section on the Philips website.

Good pasta
Pasta came out good but I had to use double ingredients as the scale reset after I put first part and machine didn't recognise the weight and I had to put one more portion so hopefully its just begginer mistake. And machine is massive. Pasta good :)

Best thing Iโve ever purchased in my life
Best thing Iโve ever bought in my life. I didnโt see any reviews mentioning it actually heats the pasta up as is comes out so it doesnโt all stick together or need drying. 2 minutes of mixing and it comes out perfectly. Best spaghetti I have ever eaten. Get it bought!!! And the review saying the attachment falls outโฆ physically impossible. My new best friend

easy to make pasta
We recently picked up this pasta machine to incorporate more veggies for the kids diet. The first batch of pasta made about 5 portions. You download the NutriU app for recipes and guidance on to how to use the Philips 700 pasta machine. The box included 7 pasta shape discs, scraper, measuring cup, and cleaning brushes. The middle holes were ok, but the sides made the pasta rough on the first try. The pasta making machine feels very sturdy and easy to clean with little mess made. I like how the machine automatically weighs and mixes the flour to make incredibly easy pasta. The machine doesn't take too much counter space. We purchased during prime day which was a steal.

So simple!
Ive just made my first batch of pasta. 250g of 00 Flour, 1 large egg and (including the egg and you mix it up really well with a fork) 95ml of water. I did have to add a little more water and looking at the end result, I think next time I would use the egg and take it up to 100ml of water. The mixing was great. Extrusion into Penne was good. Once finished there was a significant bit of the mixture left but you cannot scrape it off and start extrusion again so that was a waste. It cleans up beautifully BUT the extrusion pattern mould was really tough to get all the bits of mixture out of. It might be different in a dishwasher. Ive left it soaking in hot water to see if that cleans it. I am sure with use I will master the device better but for a first use, I am delighted and it is really so simple!

Useless. Utterly useless pasta machine from Philips
It weighs a tonne. The dies are all plastic apart from the lasagna one which is mostly plastic with a little metal. Despite the machine costing nearly ยฃ300, it doesn't even come with an instruction manual- not even something to tell you which die is for which kind of pasta. For this kind of money, that's pretty shoddy. Customer service from Philips was poor too, and to return it I had to lug the thing to an Evri collection point.

Not worth the price
Not worth the money. When making water and flour only past the machine produces decent pasta (I used spaghetti rings). When making egg and flour pasta it is almost impossible to get any pasta out of the rings. The rings block way too easy and the machine mechanism just does not push the dough enough to produce pasta. Unfortunately once you used the machine it gets dirty and also not possible to pack properly again to send it back. I would definitely not buy it again and regret the waste of money.
