A bit too dim for one bulb, two work better...
I used one of these bulbs in a standing lamp, and while I like the features of being able to change the brightness and color, I did find it to be somewhat dim on its own.I bought another one and installed them both in an overhead light. I feel that these bulbs are more effective in pairs, because when used together they offer enough light. You can control what each bulb does individually in an app or with Alexa, which is a nice feature.

Poor Color Mixing
They work well enough, however, I have several complaints:1. Color mixing is just plain bad (you see blue and red, not purple)2. LED density is poor (you can see many little dots from far away)3. The white base hangs outside my fixtures and are a bit of an eyesore.

Great lightbulb
The media could not be loaded. This light bulb is great! You download the SmartLife app and can control everything from there. You can sync it to change color along with music. It’s super easy to manage from the app as well.

The media could not be loaded. Best part.... I didn't need their app. It loaded easily to the Smart Life app.Photos from left to right show the brightest setting, lowest setting, red, purple, and a video of one of the scene settings.I am using it on a screened-in porch. Bulb is meant to more of an accent light. It's not meant to light an entire room. However it is bright enough for me to read by with the ceiling lights turned off. Not sure if I would want this in a table lamp meant for reading, but up above my head & shining down is perfectly okay.

Sent me a dumb bulb
My bad for plugging it in without looking at it first. I was sent a basic edison clear bulb. It's not color or smart. I spend 20min trying to get it to pair before finally pulling it out and seeing the problem. Pretty lame they either tried to get away ripping me off or someone returned a different bulb to rip them off but again I blame Amazon for sending me something used in that instance. And of course, they make it a pain to get a refund.

Doesn't Work
I ordered one and it would not work on the red. I asked for a replacement. The replacement color for orange was bluish green. The colors do not work correctly, I have returned both.
