For the price this is a good, well made product, including UltraFire batteries which last a decent amount of time, about 8hrs continuous using the one main lamp. I have not tried the inbuilt charger as I purchased a separate intelligent charger.The main beam produces a very bright white light that is zoomable and two separate spot lights that are also bright which can be combined with the main beam to produce literally a flood of light.Two things that need to be addressed are the whole thing is bulky and heavy, the batteries have to be big to be powerful and long lasting, but the lamps themselves could be packaged using less metal and plastic.Secondly, it would be really helpful to have a dim setting for the main beam for reading for example, it really is too bright at times.Apart from this I would recommend this item, its worth the investment.

This torch is very bright on centre lamp alone which lights up well for a fair distance - much better than expected. The lamps are quite large and do protrude outwards a bit but didn't feel unbalanced with the overhead strap. I found it quite comfortable and have used to light up the loft whilst working and also out in the garden at night. I will also carry it out fellwalking as a spare in the rucksack for when a larger circle of bright light is required over a longer distance (My normal walking torch is a lightweight Petzl Myo for extra long battery life on long night walks). All in all great value for money. I'm going to buy another for my husband.

The box shows a charger but no charger was in the box.

It was damaged on arrival. The box had been dropped with slight damage to the corner of the box. This caused damage to the strap retention. Obviously not very robust. Disappointing.

This headlight appeared at first to be a solid, well-made, piece of kit. Unfortunately, when I tried to charge it by a USB connection to my PC, the whole of the mini USB disappeared inside the body of the battery pack, never to be seen again; the complete instrument is therefore useless.I have yet to contact the seller, but I hope to resolve this small error, which has a significant negative effect.

This is an excellent product, made of good quality and sturdy materials. The beam is of very good strength (if kept well-charged) and the variety of lighting modes is a useful feature. The item is fairly light for its size, but the main bulb housing protrudes quite a way, so you have to remember to avoid bashing it when in a confined space. Even then the housing is quite resilient if it is inadvertently knocked. Charging is reasonably quick, but remember to keep it charged as the beam strength drops rapidly when the charge gets low. The headband is adjustable, but one criticism is that, even at its loosest setting, it can be tight on larger heads or if you're wearing it over e.g. a beanie, whereas the scope to tighten the band seems to be much greater than would ever be required.

The quality of the product is fantastic and the light is bright. The product is exactly as described in the description and works just how you'd want it to work. I really like the Zoom feature which lets you focus the light on one area. The product is all round great and i would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a head lamp.

Ordered this for walking on the dark nights, old head torch consumed batterys weekly and was always less than impressive. Not with this one... Once fully charged the powerful light can be used for several 1 hr walks in the evening without top up. Mega bright lights and great value for money at the offer price. Was that impressed I ordered another. Top job.
