Great 7' pole
I bought the bait casting rod in med./hvy action. I am super happy with this rod. It's a 2 piece rod that makes it perfect for travel. It has a lot of back bone for hook setting and fighting larger fish, it's light weight so I was surprised by the amount of power it has. The guides are micro guides and were all perfectly aligned, 8 in total. . The over all look of the rod itself is awesome. the reel seat is made of hard plastic and fits perfect in my hands, is very comfortable and well balanced over all.Overall quality seems very decent for the money, cork quality could be a little better, but the price is rightOverall I'm very happy wit it so far. It's a no-frills rod, but it does what it needs to and does that well.I would highly recommenced this rod as the price and performance can't get much better!

Performs way above its price point.
I own Diawa, Lamiglas, Okuma and other rods that are nice. This brand fits nicely between the Diawa and Lamiglas. Actually on par with the Lamiglas's that are now made in China vs Woodland, WA. In many ways I think this one out preforms they're Chinese rods. Just the sheer looks of this thing is amazing! great fit and finish.Pros:- Cost: Preforms way above its price point. Way, Way above.- Super comfortable grips!!!- Love how the reel holder and screw that tighten/loosens the reel are one and the same piece. Have you ever un-tightened your reel only to have it stuck in the metal holder thingy? I know I have too many times and this is a great feature to pay extra attention to the details as it doesn't do it and will never allow that to happen.- Extra long handle makes for better casting.- So many eye holes for the line.- Cast distance improved for me.- Very Attractive.- The eyelets are small at tip and smooth so line just glides out- Arrived in thick shipping container with a soft carry case. Thats a nice bonus.-Cons- I would sacrifice one of the eyelets for a hook holder at the rear. Surprised not to see one installed.- The cool matrix pattern from the bottom area of the rod doesn't go all the way to the top of the rod.All said and done great rod. If it breaks I would buy another.

Better than Cabela's/bass pro brand.
Cabelas suck. Got this one instead. Heavier action but fits in a small 4 piece container nicely made. Would easily handle a stealy.

Exceeded all of my expectations!
Excellent pole all around, not even just for the price! I have rods that cost $120-$180 each and I can tell you this pole stands toe to toe with them every single time, and in some regards out preforms them.Weight: VERY light weight.... like shockingly light rod. I was skeptical with the company claiming carbon fiber on the packaging but I honestly believe it is. This is the first carbon fiber rod I have, all others are graphite, and I know for a fact pairing this with a lightweight casting reel I can carry it around any lake or body of water without an issue. It’s more likely my legs would get tired before my arms did.Quality: seems to be very sturdy. Cork and foam handles have no blemishes or defects out of the box. Best part of of the rod in my opinion are the guides.... there are 11 OF THEM! This helps the line from tangling or looping back over itself. A rod I have from a different brand is a full 8 inches longer, and has only 8 guides! Each guide has a smooth inside and no metal touching the eyelets, meaning line won’t fray.Rod has great action and I will be buying more for my other casting reels and spinners. I wish they offered more lengths so I could replace my longer 8ft rods and my shorter 6ft ones.

You get what you pay for
The line weight indicator says the rod can handle a line weight of 10-16 pounds. One would think that the rod itself would handle a fish of, say, 15 pounds, without issue. Wrong. While attempting to land a catfish of about 15 pounds the rod broke in half and when I made a grab for the broken end in the water I grabbed the line that promptly snapped and watched the catfish swim away with my drop shot set up in his mouth. Oh, the line was 15 lbs test.

THE ROD IS THE BEST VALUE and has amazing performance. The reel is trash
I purchased the rod MH and reel combo and STRONGLY suggest buying only the rod. The reel is pretty worthless. This rod is a STEAL at $43. I tried my best to break it, spooled with 30lb braid (didnt have anything lighter) From 50 pound cow nose rays to nursery thresher sharks to every inshore species. I had the rod bent parabolic with my hand on the reel trying to stop the drag and the rod held up beautifully. Its an absolute blast to catch the smallest fish and a wild ride on the unexpected giants as your fluking. I bought an additional two rods one MH and one M. At more than half the price of the bigger names THIS ROD HOLDS UP! I can not stress the value of this rod. For true Value pair this rod with a Piscifun reel! $25-$30 but make sure to jam it up with grease including the bearings it holds up in the salt spray NP

Very lightweight with plenty of backbone
I wanted to try my new Elite Hunter spinning rod before wriitng a review, instead of just an unwrapping review. I got this medium-light rod to do light salt water fishing primarily, but have only had it in fresh water so far. The rod comes in a nice, compartmented cloth bag, and arrived in perfect shape. I was very impressed immediately and after use at how light this rod is, but has plenty of stiffness for a rod this light. I mounted a 3000 size reel on the rod and it seems a great combination. I used the rod fishing a plastic worm for bass and I could feel every little tap any fish made. I even used it for dropping the worm down in between lilly pad stems and was able to bring the admittedly small bass right out of there (15 lb braided line). Easily plenty of backbone for medium weight fishing. I did receive this rod from Plusinno as a promotion, but I would readily buy another one if the need arises. I am very impressed with this rod.Addition: I used it recenlty at the coast for the first time but had little luck. I did catch a 12 inch bluefish on the rod. Not only di it handle that fighter very well, it cast my lure smoothly and as far as I would expect. I look forward to putting a lot use into this very nice rod.
