Best massaging device I've ever experienced!
I have been a weightlifting athlete for almost 10 years and I have accumulated lots of muscle soreness and knots due to my lack of stretching ( I know, but we have all been there. Who has time these days?). Anyway, I was reading different reviews to the TheraGun and other competitors, hyper volt, lifepro, etc and I found that theraguns reviews were a lot more compelling. I also was able to test out the hyper volt at my current gym and I found it to be hard to hold and target different muscle groups (especially on my shoulders and lower back). I know that the $$ also was the highest, however the value behind the product outweighs the price. The theragun comes with a lot of different attachments ( I really enjoy the pointed one bc I get to dig into my thumb and forearms and ease the stress of typing on my laptop all day for work). The theragun is incredibly easy to use and I am able to hold it in ways that allow me to dig into muscles that I wouldn't normally reach or touch. Definitely one of my best purchases of 2020 and I have gained some serious mobility in my hips because of the theragun!!!! I use it almost every day and I can tell that my muscles aren't as tight and stressed anymore. Yay!! :)

Lithium battery issues, but solvable! (Updated Review)
The TheraGun is an excellent product, especially when I had severe lower back pain and couldn't move for days -- used the Theragun for 5 minutes and the pain instantly went away and hasn't come back (true story). My issue came with the lithium battery - I went a year without using the TheraGun while I was traveling. When I came back, the battery would not charge and rendered the TheraGun completely inoperable. After back and forth with Customer Service, they told me the Theragun needs to be used regularly otherwise the battery will die (like a car). Keep using your product and it will last! Thank you Robert C for your help with this.

The massage you can actually get in quarantine!
This is by far the best investment I have made on here. My husband and I got it after I hurt my back and used it at our chiropractorโs office as very few things had been effective by that point. Now, we use it all the time on any sore or tight muscle and itโs almost instantly better! My husband, who coaches high school sports, uses it with his football players and it seems to help them too. Itโs incredibly easy to use, which is helpful. The trick I found is to push down a bit because it actually hurts if you hold it just barely over the skin (at least on me it does). But pushing it down helps a ton so it feels more like a massage. The battery life is great, we will use it for several days consistently for several hours and it will still have a charge. Iโve tried other brands but this one was the best in my opinion. In short, I would be hurtinโ without my theragun. Iโd highly recommend it to anyone.

Wish I would have purchased this sooner
Great product and easy to use with its triangular handle to reach almost all areas of the body without needing assistance from another person. The multiple speeds and multiple heads letโs you make necessary adjustments to customize it to your individual needs. It is on the pricey side compared to other products but the ease of total body use would not be possible with different handles. I am coming up on my 11th surgery in the past 17 years and after using the Theragun Pro at my health club and now having my own at home I can attest that this product is as advertised and I feel better daily because of my use of it. I would highly recommend this item for people who are active and people who wake up stiff in the mornings

Perfect gift!
I got this gun for my husband as a gift and he absolutely loves it, in the past he's used many different less expensive brands and it seemed like a good opportunity to invest in a product that is higher quality than most that are on the market (which are good but not great). He absolutely loves it, it works much differently and effectively than many others. This product is not necessarily a must and it is not to say that cheaper options are not effective but if you are someone who is on your feet all day or has a highly physically demanding job I recommend this product over anything else you might buy on the market simply because of the power it delivers and its battery life as well as the quality of its attachments. It's the type of investment where if you purchase one expensive item you won't need to purchase many other less expensive items that you end up not liking as much, and by items I mean massage guns. :) Great gift for anyone really!

Solid device but cheap packaging
I haven't used other percussive massagers before so I was a little concerned about figuring out how to use it but the app that the theragun pairs with has good directions for the major areas that people could need. I was up and using it almost immediately with very little guesswork on how to use it. A lot of people that I cycle with had great things to say about it and when I mentioned I was having difficulty recovering from my volume increase recently they recommended this. Anecdotally it has helped, placebo or not it's half the battle and I'll continue to use it. Certain muscle groups were in so much pain that I couldn't even handle the lightest amount of pressure from the gun on the recovery setting. Over the last 5 days I've been able to handle more pressure in the optimal zones (a nice feature on the app). It's possible that it is helping with recovery and warm up for now. I'm really interested in seeing if it helps stave off shin splints from running as my volume increases. I've pretty consistently used a foam roller and 'the stick' for my soft tissue treatment for cycling/running to this point. One of two complaints is that it doesn't come with a wireless charging pad and it's not compatible with other wireless charging pads that are pretty ubiquitous these days. At 3/400$ it's one of those things that should be included. The charging cradle looks a bit extra for what it needs to do. 80$ for the one from them is a rip off that I will likely begrudgingly purchase at some point. Slimey practice from the company to not include in my opinion. Second complaint is the storage case and the design is cheap/atrocious. Having to lift the damn flap to access the massage gun every time is a pain in the butt (thankfully the massager can work that out? :/). Not sure why they felt the need to reinvent the wheel here instead of just having the same mesh retaining pockets attached to the top side so you had clear access to the device and the attachments when you open it and they were out of the way. I almost would have preferred a bag with an inner pocket for storing the attachments. Edit Third complaint Whats the point of an LED on a charger if it is always green?

Deep Tissue Relief!
The Theragun Elite has been a total game changer for my recovery and relaxation. The power and deep tissue relief it delivers are incredible โ it works out knots and tension I didnโt even realize I had. The multiple speed settings and attachments make it easy to customize for different muscles, and itโs surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold, even for longer sessions, and the battery lasts plenty long for multiple uses between charges. My muscles feel looser, recovery time is faster, and I honestly canโt imagine going back to life without it!

Bad battery and no after warranty repair
In a bit more than 2 years, I rarely used my TheraGun Elite. As I did not need to use it frequently, I stored away in the closet. A few days ago, I had a need to use it and I plugged it to charge. When the meter showed all bars (fully charged), I unplugged to use it. Immediately after unplugging it, the battery meter went back to no bars (no power). Did the charge and try to use again and got same results. It is most likely the battery. I was hopeful that Therabody (the manufacturer) would be understanding and, though out of warranty, it would give me an option to buy and replace the battery. They did not. The did offer me a 40% discount on any new device. Thanks but no thanks. Why would I embark onto owning again an expensive product made by a company that does not offer any after-warranty repair? I would be owning again a product that could potentially break (same manufacturer, same product capabilities) and find myself in the same condition again. Very disappointed. I bought TheraGun $400 and after over 2 years of little use I am simply left with an irreparable device.

Device unfortunately does not work
After purchasing this item and waiting a long while for the international shipment, the item arrived in a faulty mode. It is unable to charge to 100% and can't run. Not sure that this is due to a faulty item from the manufacturer or sold by the seller as is.

Next-level massage gun power
I had a reasonable massage gun before I got the Theragun. But as I am working through some injuries and flexibility issues I thought it would be worth investing in the Theragun. I was not disappointed. It is significantly more powerful and effective than my previous massage gun. The triangular handle is surprisingly useful (I thought it would be mostly gimmick) and makes certain positions a lot less stressful on your wrists. If you are looking for a relaxing massage keep well clear : ) However, if you want a tool to help with recovery, etc, then this is excellent.

If you're still in doubt, don't be as this is a life changer!
Massage guns seem to be the latest FAD in fitness, with so many products flooded all over amazon from brands I've never even heard of. After reading external professional reviews this and the Hypervolt came out on top so I decided to take the plunge on the Theragun and never looked back. For post work out recovery I've never felt better. The app is to be honest a bit useless, but after watching a couple of how to videos it's pretty easy to get the hang of it. Highly recommend!

Quality bit of kit.
Worth.. every.. penny. The quality of this bit of kit over other massage guns is notable. I know they are expensive but after my chiropractor used her device on me I went out and bought one the same day.
