While the adhesive is strong enough to stay put through everyday activities, I have found that it typically comes loose before the 48-hour mark. Ideally, I would prefer it to last at least two days, as this means I would not have to change the dressing until the next dialysis session. However, in experience, it usually starts to lift or peel off within about a day. This means occasionally have to reapply or use a fresh piece before the next treatment. Waterproofing: The waterproof claim holds up well. Comfort & Skin-friendliness: The material is lightweight and flexible, which is great for comfort Transparency: Being clear, one can visibly inspect the access site for any signs of infection or bleeding without removing the tape, making monitoring easier between changes.
