The slug's slime causes a chemical reaction that creates a small electric current, and the slug dislikes the resulting mild electric shock. - Although this reaction causes mild discomfort for the slugs and snails, there is no long-term or physical harm. - Adhesive barrier tape creates a barrier that repels pests without chemicals. - 20mm x 25m conductive copper tape for slug and snail repellent. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01G971VGY | | Adhesive Format | Adhesive | | Adhesive Location | tape | | Adhesive Material | Copper | | Adhesive Side Count | 1 | | Best Sellers Rank | 242 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 1 in Slug & Snail Control | | Brand | EVG | | Colour | 1 Roll | | Compatible Material | Multiple (based on the list of acceptable values) | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (4,927) | | Foil Thickness | 0.1 Centimetres | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 25L x 0.02W metres | | Item Resistance | water resistant | | Item Thickness | 0.05 Millimetres | | Item Type Name | Slug & Snail Copper Tape | | Manufacturer | EVG | | Manufacturer Part Number | CP | | Material | Copper | | Model Number | CP | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Self Adhering | | Recommended Uses For Product | Pest Control, Electrical, EMI & RFI Shielding, Arts & Craft | | Size Name | 20mm x 25m | | Surface Recommendation | Carpet, Ceramic, Cloth, Concrete, Metal, Plastic, Stone, Tile, Wood | | UPC | 762301122842 762301122835 | | Unit Count | 25.0 meter | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** EVG - **Colour:** 1 Roll - **Material:** Copper - **Number of items:** 1 - **Recommended uses for product:** Pest Control, Electrical, EMI & RFI Shielding, Arts & Craft ## Images ![EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Tape Slug Repellent UK | Snail Pest Deterrent Barrier | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41NGuWuDQ8L.jpg) ![EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Tape Slug Repellent UK | Snail Pest Deterrent Barrier | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41uXBgiSavL.jpg) ![EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Tape Slug Repellent UK | Snail Pest Deterrent Barrier | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51sL90fDQvL.jpg) ![EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Tape Slug Repellent UK | Snail Pest Deterrent Barrier | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/516X017QguL.jpg) ![EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Tape Slug Repellent UK | Snail Pest Deterrent Barrier | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dR05ymqeL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this item suitable for use in stained glass** A: We have not used it on stained glass but I caqn say that it is reasonably flexible making me suspect that you can. Hint: we had leaded windows in our last house, withthe leading applied to the external face of the double glazzing. Due to the age of the leading and our window clearners using long poles off the ground, the leading broke in a small number of places. I found that the rolls of replacement leading were very easy to profile where the leading went over another line of leading. The trick is to use a plastic tool to pushthe lead strip in firmly atthe start of going over and keeping that pressure applied there, take the new lead over the top of the other lead line, push this down to attach then hold that down while using the plastic tool to push in on the new lead at the other side of the other line of lead. Make sure that the edge of the plastic tool is rounded, not sharp. The adhesive is good enough to cope with the weather conditions we had there: open meadow land so wind and blowing rain, all in north Staffordshire at an off-shoot of the Pennines. H **Q: What is the thickness of this copper tape?** A: Now that is a good question. This tape is a thin copper foil. I would guess that it is thinner than cooking foil and probably the thickness of sellotape or similar. Having said that, it appears to be quite robust. **Q: Has anyone tried using this tape on the outside of fabric raised vegetable beds? If so did it work?** A: I purchased this tape to place it in the "U" shaped void under the patio doors. We still see some slug trails, so I'm not 100% convinced this works. Either that, or they are coming in from a different area that is not obvious to us...! **Q: Slugs have found their way into a kitchen cupboard. Can I use tape?** A: I am not sure it will stop them getting into a cupboard unless you know the exact point of entry and put some tape there. It is a fairly good preventative measure, but certainly not full-proof. I personally wouldn't want it showing on the outside of my cupboards for aesthetic reasons. Sorry, I can't be of more help, but I have only ever used it for plant containers outside. ## Frequently Bought Together - EVG 20mm x 25m Copper Slug Tape | Adhesive Copper Slug Snail Repellent | Pest Deterrent Barrier Tape | Humane Pest Control | Gardens & Plants Protection (1 Roll) - PROTECT GARDEN 86601082 Slug & Snail Killer Max, 800G - Powerful Slug Killer Pellets - for Protecting Ornamental Plants and Garden Vegetables - Snail Repellant - Approved for Organic Gardening - GERAWOO Pure Copper Mesh Rodent Pest Control, 20 Feet Fine Wire Mesh Roll for Mouse Hole Filler, Rat Snail Slug Deterrent & Trap for Indoors, Garden --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/53074671-evg-20mm-x-25m-copper-slug-tape-adhesive-copper-tape](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/53074671-evg-20mm-x-25m-copper-slug-tape-adhesive-copper-tape) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
