KATE FARMS Pediatric 1.2 High Calorie Shake, Vanilla, 6 Pack

My toddler called a froggy milk because it has a cute little frog on the picture. Easy to digest good taste doesn't cause massive constipation or massive diarrhea. Reasonable taste for what it is. Tastes better than all the adult versions they sell. It does usually show up pretty beat up in the mail. Do not store it in your car this product does not like heat. It goes down quick it's easy to drink and has lots of vitamins we all lack with modern eating habits

Amazing my toddler loves the vanilla one and gained weight

Great supplement for my son who has a poor appetite due to his ADHD meds. I mix in Duocal & ice cream for added calories. Only problem was with the delivery. Driver left on driveway near garage. It may have been run over if I didnt notice the package laying there. Delivery instructions are to leave packages near front door on porch. The KF box within the Amazon package came open & some milk cartons fell out of the box. Fortunately none of the KF individual cartons had the drink spill out

My son is very picky. He loves these just wish they were more affordable

Our kiddos dietician prescribed this formula and they’ve been drinking the chocolate and have loved them. We give the chocolate flavor a 5/5! However, after drinking one every day for a year they’re burnt out and wanted a different flavor. The dietitian recommended the vanilla and said we could mix flavors into it too. Upon opening the vanilla it had a disgusting pungent odor, a weird foggy color, and just did not seem appetizing at all. Mixing flavors in or leaving as is all result in weird odor regardless. Our kiddo has been drinking them and hasn’t complained so I guess that’s fine/good. I would definitely say they’re more eager for the chocolate flavor even with being burned out on it though. Overall this formula and Kate Farms has been a life saver for our kiddo and their health situation. We just will not be purchasing the “vanilla” flavor again. Kate Farms 6/5 excellent. Chocolate formula 5/5. Vanilla formula 3/5.

I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to share our experience. Hopefully this helps someone who is on the fence about paying so much for something they are unsure whether their child will like or not. My 5 year old has been diagnosed with EoE and is not allowed to eat anything containing dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, nuts or seafood. He is very underweight and a ridiculously picky eater, even before he was placed on these restrictions. It’s hard for us to convince him to try new food or drinks, and he usually has one taste and gags or throws up. He hates 99% of all fruits, will not eat vegetables, and has literally been surviving on allergen free toast and hot dogs. Our doctor recommended we try Kate Farms at our last appointment. I was really hesitant because we’ve tried other allergen free drinks that we’ve found at Sprouts or Whole Foods and he didn’t like any of them. I cringe to spend so much money on food that gets thrown away after one taste. A week ago I finally decided to just spend the $46 for a case of 12 cartons (we call them “shakes,” which sounds a lot better to a 5 year old). I bribed him with a surprise toy if he would drink a whole “shake.” It took him about 30-45 minutes to drink the first one, but he didn’t gag or throw up - I tried it and it tasted better than anything I’ve found that he can have. A few more bribes later and he has decided that he will drink them on his own, chose a shake over toast for breakfast this morning, and even asked us to pack one in his lunch for school. I’m still terrified that he will decide one day that he is sick of them, but so far I am unbelievably relieved that he’s getting calories and organic nutrition in something he actually likes! 1/6/24 Update: My son is now almost 10 years old and still drinks these every day. He is still super picky, but eats a few more things than he used to. This is the most nutrition he gets out of anything and he usually has two a day. I know that these “shakes” have been the only thing keeping him healthy and I couldn’t be more grateful for this company.

Such a great product, doctor recommended for my baby boy and helped him grow and gain weight and was our go to for my angel

Actually tastes good! Like cereal milk! Specifically lucky charms
