I can't believe what a difference this product made for me! I've always had very fine, thin hair and have always had a spot right in the front where the hairline is a little uneven and extra thin. Depending on how I wear my hair, you can almost see my scalp in certain areas so I always shied away from wearing my hair up because I didn't want to be able to see that spot. I had tried using eyeshadow that was close to the color of my hair to fill in that area, but it just didn't work well.I wish I had tried this product sooner! It is so easy to use, looks totally natural and gave me back the confidence I needed to wear my hair up. It would also be great if you find your part is getting a little wider as you get older. The sponge applicator is super easy to use and the little brush is also helpful in certain areas. I have darker blonde hair and wasn't entirely sure what color to get for the best match, the blonde colors available looked like they just wouldn't quite match my hair or they were too warm. In the end I decided to go with the light brown and am glad I did, it's a perfect match. This is the only color I've tried, but I have a feeling all the colors are probably pretty forgiving even if you don't see one that's an exact match.

I have this little bare-ish spot on my hairline that bugs me. I'm always trying to part my hair so it looks right. I bought this product on a whim and was surprised by how well it worked. One little dab and that bald-looking spot is totally unnoticeable (to me). I have dark blonde hair and the blonde color product is just enough to take that white-scalp-shine off.

I use a compact root cover up normally, but ran out. Thought I'd try something new. The powder puff on the bottom of the package allows you to get a good amount on at one time. However, the powder does not stick to wet hair, which is what my other root coverup powder does. I have very little time in the morning, so this is upsetting to me and why I'm giving it 4 stars. Colorwise, it's great; it's a pretty darn accurate ultra light blonde. It does not, however, give the shine of natural hair, so you may want to use a light oil shine mist on top and lightly pat in.*Top Tip #1: Hold a Q-Tip on your part line to keep the powder off your scalp as you apply.*Top Tip #2: Firmly rub the powder puff into the powder so you get saturated color.

I’m a natural blonde whose roots tend to get dark in between low lights and highlight's or not being in the sun during the summer months. Sometimes in between salon visits I need to break the base aka touch up the roots in certain areas. This product is AMAZING! Super easy to use and fool proof! I like that you have the option to “paint” on with the brush small thin highlights or you can use the puff to cover a wider area. Color match was spot on perfect and if I messed up it just washes out. Lasted through the day. Even took it to show my hairstylist and she was impressed with the coverage. Will definitely rebuy as needed.

I recently purchased the VOLLUCK Root Touch Up Hair Powder Root Cover Up Hairline Shadow Powder but it was a trial and error process to get the right color. I have red/auburn hair and ordered the Red shade first. When I opened the jar to try it out, it was definitely red, more of a magenta which did not match my hair color (looked like a sunburn when I applied it). I was ready to just return the product and look for something else; however, one of the features I liked about Volluck's product was the fine powder and ease of use. Since the powder is so fine, I decided to try and see if I could mix it with another shade to get it closer to my hair color. I ordered 2 more jars (auburn and brown). I was able to match my hair color using the combination of Red and Auburn (returned the Brown shade). I will note that I did not use the enclosed applicator brush but instead used a cotton ball to lightly dust both shades on my hair. Worked like a charm and I am happy to hide the unsightly gray roots between hair appointments.I do recommend Volluck Root Touch Up Hair Powder Root Cover Up Hairline Shadow Powder but you may have to play with one or more shades to get the color that is right for you. I purchased it less than 2 weeks as of this writing and will update in the future if needed.

I have a few places where my hair is thinning. Just tap it on and go. It does not leave a sticky film like others have. It also stays on until I wash my hair. Great cost and perfect for me.

When you just want a few added highlights or need a touch up to your hair this product is phenomenal!!! Highly recommended! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I've got dark ash blonde hair with gray highlights. It's fine and thin, so I'm using this to color my scalp under the hair, which gives the illusion that I have more hair. But the product really needs to match the color of the hair well for the illusion to work. So I bought both the dark blond and the light brown. The light brown works perfectly, because it has cool undertones (like ash colored hair), whereas the dark blond has warm undertones, so I can see it sitting on my hair and scalp. The dark blond doesn't blend in at all. I think it might work for honey blond (maybe), but not at all for ash blond. I'm glad that I bought 2 colors so I could find the right one.That said, the illusion is only an illusion. The photos on the product page are misleading. They make it look like there's actually more hair once the product is applied. This isn't hair fibers, only scalp foundation. They've photoshopped those pictures, so you shouldn't expect it to look as good as what they show. (The deceptive photos are why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.) For my hair, using a scalp foundation is a major improvement, so I don't know why they needed to put up deceptive photos.Before I bought this, I bought an expensive scalp foundation that cost $60 for a slightly smaller amount. This works just as well; in fact I like the applicator better, and they give you a small brush as well, which can be used for eyebrows. The expensive scalp foundation does have nicer packaging, but packaging isn't worth $50, so I'm very glad to have found this.

Matched my hair colour and blended in seamlessly. Easy to build up colour and easy to remove. Definitely recommended. Just wish Amazon sold lighter colours.

I purchased this product yesterday as I was fed up with the black roots on my dyed blonde hair and was really impressed on how much it covered them. I have previously tried the light blonde touch up sprays and they just made my hair look yellow. This product doesn't make your hair look yellow, and definitely covers your roots. Will 100% be buying this product again as extremely pleased with the results and product does exactly as it says it does. One very happy customer

as a recent blonde with some dark regrowth each month i needed a solution , i was sceptical about this product but it really does cover the dark roots well . Excellent price too , quality product .

I was reluctant to try this but I am so glad I did. It completely works. Easy application with the powderpuff. There is also a small brush applicator for more detailed areas. The trick is getting your colour match right, if you get your colour right you won’t regret your purchase and the powder blends perfectly into your existing hair. It stays put once on as well and washes out when you wash your hair. As a menopausal woman my hair has given me some trouble, some thinning around where I part my hair and my temples. This product is magic.

I’m in my 60’s and viewed all of the other options and kept coming back to this one. I’m so glad I tried it! I use it every other day when my white roots come back. I dye my hair dark chocolate brown and this shade couldn’t have been a more perfect match. It goes on smoothly and honestly makes me feel a bit younger with filling in the thinning areas as well. I’ll always buy this now!
