- High Quality dishwasher water supply installation kit with fittings – DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE ON STRAIGHT THREADS I have been a remodeling contractor for too long. I cannot begin to count the number of dishwashers I have installed. A long time ago dishwasher water supply lines had to be connected with soft copper pipe and flare fittings. Nowadays the fittings are all pipe end compression washer sealed that are super easy. Please do not confuse end pipe compression washer sealed with Nut & Ferrule compression fittings. I am surprised and disappointed that the kit builder included a long roll of Teflon Tape. Teflon Tape is only supposed to be used for TAPERED NPT threads. NPT threads fit like a tapered cork in a wine bottle. For NPT threads you use a Pipe Dope compound on the treads to help the tapered threads seal. You DO NOT use Teflon Tape on the STRAIGHT threads of NPS end pipe compression washer sealed fittings. If you have a water leak it is probably because you improperly used Teflon Tape on STRAIGHT threads. A tiny water leak can easily cause thousands and thousands of dollars of damage. Do you really want to be one of those DIY-Wrong handyman. If you don’t already know what the difference between NPT and NPS thread types perhaps you would be better off in the long run hiring a professional.

The steel braided hose and all fittings seem to be high quality with no defects or other issues. Kit also includes a roll of plumber's Teflon tape that can be used on many other projects. Overall it arrived exactly as expected and should work well.

It's a nice kit for plumbing a dishwasher and has all the elbows for hooking up to dishwashers including the garden hose connector that are on most dishwashers. It even had the tower connector in the event your sink valve doesn't have a dual port. You simply shut off the valve, unscrew you sink line, and screw in the tower. Now you have two port to hook your sink back in and plug in the dishwasher. It is comparably priced with other install kits and has 10 ft of hose so you can reach even the dishwasher that not next to the sink.

This is a great kit to pick up if you are installing a dishwasher. The kit had everything I needed to hook the supply line up to my dishwasher. They even included teflon tape to ensure your connections are drip free. The stainless steel braided line is well made and seems to be great quality. I have no worries about it bursting or developing a leak. Overall very please with this dishwasher installation kit.

Not much to say here, it’s pretty hard to screw up a hose. That being said, I am remodeling my mother’s 35 year old kitchen and decided to replace some of the hard to reach hardware so I don’t have to worry about making a repair down the road once everything is back in place. This hose is a great length. It’s strong and durable but flexible enough to install it without a fight. The fittings are nicely crimped and made precisely. The threads fit on my existing connections perfectly. I have a ton of Teflon tape and always use it, but it’s a nice gesture that they included some so you don’t need to make a trip to the hardware store if you don’t have any around. Pretty much everything you need to swap out lines is included, including various fittings for different applications. The braided jacket is as good as anything I might find at a local big box home improvement store. Shop around for the best price but if they can keep this under $20, the quality warrants the price.

We are currently remodeling our kitchen. We got a new dishwasher so we needed to get it installed. This hose was perfect for installation. This hose comes with all the needed connections to connect to a dishwasher. It worked perfectly for installing our Kitchen Aid dishwasher. We now have it up and running. I am very glad I got this.
