I recently purchased this product and I must say, I'm quite impressed with it. It really does keep my car cool even in the scorching heat. I live in a very sunny area and this sunshade has been a lifesaver. The installation process was very easy and straightforward. The picture and video instructions were very helpful and made the process a breeze. Slide the bars in, screw in the shade, and cover up the seams.I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their car cool during the summer months. Since installing it, I can feel the difference when I enter my car. It is several degrees lower in direct sunlight. It blends nicely with the car, and I have not had any issues of rattle and noise that some other have complained about.

I finally decided to get the retractable sunshade for my Model Y. I wanted to be able to block out the sun during the day time, but still be able to use the glass roof at night. I had a non-retractable sunshade on my car for a year now, and it is not easy to install and remove.This is much more expensive, but it's totally worth it.The package came in a big flat style box. Everything was packaged well, and good protection. No damages at all. This version of the Hansshow retractable sunshade seems to be much easier to install than the previous version. It comes with the actual sunshade on a frame/track system, folded in the box. Two tracking rails,frame cover, tools, and screws. The instructions are pretty simple. It took me about 30 mins to get everything installed all by myself. The most difficult part is to get the frame line up to the 2 rails, and get them screwed into place all by myself. It would’ve been much easier if I had another person to help.Once the sunshade is installed, it is pretty secure. The sunshade can be slid open and close. In the beginning the slider is a bit tight, but after opening and closing a few times, it becomes smoother to open and close. The color of the design is very close to my 2022 Model Y. Almost like the OEM color/materials. Without looking at it closely, you won’t be able to tell its aftermarket product. I tested the temperature when closed, it's about 109F, when it's open it's about 125F. It does help to reduce the temperature quite a bit in the car.The sunshade is very light weight, won’t cause any pressure/stress on the roof at all. But I did notice when I am driving on bumpy roads, I can hear a little bit of noise coming from the shade, but once I retract the sunshade it is very quiet, no noise at all. Since the actual curtain material is some type of paper, it does make some type of noise when driving on bumpy roads. Not very noticeable at all. I don’t think it's a big deal, since it does reduce the temperature dramatically, I can live with the noise.Overall the new design is much easier to install, and very good quality. The matching color makes it look very high quality, and perfect for the model Y. I am very happy with it.

I’ve been using a standard mesh ceiling sunshade since I got the car. Although I liked it, it did start to sag in the middle over time. I got this honeycomb shade and it looks great. It’s also is really easy to open and close these shades so at night you can open it up and see the stars. Since it can be left open I don’t intend to take this shade off ever again. The Honeycomb shade was a bit sticky at the beginning but after a few uses it got smoother and smoother. Just like the standard mesh shade this did a great job of keeping the heat off the top of my head. Very happy with it.
