Works great
Holds monitor in place

Very uncomfortable
You need it tight enough to hold but it stretches and moves out of place not comfortable. HOTIf you have muscular arms, it may work better. Not on arms with loose skin.

Nice fit once measured properly
I wanted to ensure that my G7 sensor stays in place without the continued cost of the over patches. If I bumped it on something, I also wanted something to protect the sensor. Finally, I hoped this would help prevent a compression low while sleeping. So far, it is holding my sensor in place without the extra over patches. It also held it in place, and I haven't had a compression low yet. The only problem was attempting to measure the correct size to fit my arm comfortably without help. I waited to cut it until I had someone help to ensure it was the right fit. So far, I am happy with the strap.

Doesn't stay on
My 8 year old has T1Diabetes and we thought this might help keep her g7 on better. It actually had the opposite effect for the 2 sensors we tried it on as they both came off faster then the 10 days that they should've. Part of that we think was the constant putting this back on as it would fall off regularly, and finally, my little girl just said she didn't really like it as it would sometimes pinch her skin.

Quality strap
The strap is of a good quality, mold and fit for the Dexcom G7. I workout daily and have had way too many patches that come undone from my skin. I love that this can be cut tight enough to give a firm fit if you plan to workout, go swimming, etc. I cut mine a little short so I need to order a second one to wear as a daily strap.

Good alternative sensor if you have the Dexcom G7 and you are uncomfortable with a belly sensor
I ordered this arm sensor for either my son or my grandchild. They both have type 1 diabetes. My son is using the Dexcom G6 pump and this sensor was not compatible with it. The grandchild is still delivering shots with the injection pen. The son is happy with his G6 compatible sensor on the belly and a pump. After initial troubles with the continuity and reliability of the pump he is now very stable with his level of sugar in the blood. If you are thinking about the sensor and pump, please get it, you will not be sorry. The arm sensor is the great alternative solution. My son is now protecting his injector and pump with special belt which I bought for him from Amazon. It was a bargain for less than 15 dollars. You can do that as well, if you are diabetic.

Good concept but not w/out it's challenges
I have had a few expensive sensors fail well before the 10 day life cycle of the sensor, usually due to the sensor catching on a closet doorframe or truck door when reaching out at a drive thru. I am hoping this product can help reduce the impact on the sensor and failure rate if it does accidently snag on something. The band is made from silicone and is pliable but seems rugged enough, and the stainless steel clasp is well made. My issues started with the instructions, first in step 3 it tells you to use a measuring tape "around the sensor", but then the accompanying illustration depicts wrapping the measuring tape on your arm under the sensor. I don't know if "around" is supposed to mean "somewhere near"? A couple of other things to note, based on your measurement, you trim the band to fit, but both my doctor and Dexcom said to alternate sensor locations and to alternate arms. The problem stems from having my upper right arm bigger than my upper left arm. I measured the bigger arm as I didn't want it to be too tight on my right arm if I used my left arm to measure. I already have a sensor inserted in my left arm, and after trimming the band from my right arm measurements and attaching the clasp, I put it on over the sensor on my left arm. It seemed tight enough at first, but fell off the sensor and down my left arm twice before I just removed it. I will have to try and trim the band again to even out the fit between the 2 arms. I feel some type of color matched hook and loop closure glued to the inside of the band instead of the clasp would allow for easier fit and/or adjustment. Finally, the G7 sensor is sort of egg shaped, so you have to make sure that when you insert a sensor it is oriented to be facing the same direction as the egg shaped hole in the band face when it is around your arm (mine wasn't). Otherwise it will not seat over the sensor properly. I will need to replace my sensor in a couple of days, hopefully I will have my issues all sorted then.
